They went to the AFL to try to make Dustys money come under similiar to 'Karmichael Hunt' not to show up under the cap.
They said Foff and now there hands are tied because they know we won't pay for any of his wage if he leaves and they haven't got the cap space.
Let Dimma play the diplomatic theme, they can't fit 1.4mil under there cap.
I said a long time ago we will never pay a players wage if they are left to go to another club.

They’ll have another dip at the end of next season, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulls the pin after next season, though.
If he's still fit and playing well I'd be very surprised if he retired. I reckon he thinks he can get to 400.

A guy like Allen Jackovich would be a player in this day and age, probably gets forgotten a bit due to the glut of champions around that time.
Wouldn't he ever. Poor guy had a massive gambling problem though that might be worse today, given how easy it is to get on every minute of every day.

What a talent though.

It's funny looking back on the Lids trade, partcularly the timing.

Given his personality, he is one player who i would struggle to see fitting into the whole Hero Hardship program. There isn't much humility about him, and given his chance to captain the side, would have been the worst choice possible. I could go into what i've personally witnessed of him off the field, but would rather not on a public forum.

It would be an interesting study to look at the evolution of the number 1 pick in the 2004 draft. That is to say, despite the personality, we got an exceptional football talent for the best years of his career.

We then got 2 draft picks when he was basically shot. If i have time, or if anyone else has time, it would be interesting to see what that 2 pick currency is on our current list.
The picks we were traded for lids ended up being
Zac Bailey, Jack Payne both at Brisbane. We traded the picks from that deal to Brisbane and got back the picks we used on CCJ and Noah Balta from my understanding.

Nice to see that the Commbank has got old Crutchy bent over n lined up at the moment, just got him ready for the big surprise.

His ‘fingers are in so many pies” that he thinks he is American.

A few failed ventures and now getting involved in Netball team?

Is that correct?
