Haargh. At 32 and plodding he's gunna get us a first and second round draft pick. Maybe if we pay all his salary next year we get a bit for him, but even then not that much.Plodding atm. Owes us nothing .
Would look at a trade for a 1st rounder & 2nd years end .
We need to get back into the draft .
I'll never forget hearing Mark Mercuri had the same mental change when losing his Dad.I remind the tiger faithful that Dusty was struggling in 2021 before the horrific Mitchism. It was about Round 15 I think and his form was concerning then.
As we all say, he owes us nothing, but I find it really hard to watch him play these days with the expectations of the past weighing so heavily upon him. He seems to have lost any desire to connect with the fans on the Tiger media platform and is a far cry from the powerful and in his own way, engaging, Dusty we knew.
Cotchy got the tough love last week, could Dusty be next to be subbed? Would this ignite a fire or would it snuff a smoldering ember?
Where is Emma when we need her?
17 games left take it easy . If he keeps playing and gets continuity you watch what will happen.A few more almost games and reckon Dusty will call time on his own. Looks a player that wont want to play on if he is not dominating games anymore. Think he is also getting frustrated with his body. Can see his mind is still Dusty of 2017 but the body just isnt keeping up.
Would open up a heck of salary cap which would help filling some major holes we have.
Still a legend but i hate seeing these almost games. Feel bad for him as he has been so bloody good!
Sheesh. Take it easy Tiger. My point is that he is a proud man and if he feels he can no longer be that big time player the team needs he will call it quits. Not calling him a quitter. That is your assumption. Some blokes know when the time is right. Some are selfish and play on for the wrong reasons. Dont think Dusty is that guy. He will see the season out but could possibly call it quits if his body cant produce what his mind wants.17 games left take it easy . So you reckon he is a quitter…?? That is what you’re saying- a few more almost games and he will call time.
That is rolled gold bulldust guesswork
Sorry I get a bit defensive re our champs...Sheesh. Take it easy Tiger. As with Bolton, it needs to be 50/50 at least. Never again deep forward either. Must be in the play as much as possible - his ball use (with the exception of goal kicking) is as good as ever.Every time he went into the middle he had a positive impact.
He's kicked 4 goas for the season.
4.
Get him out of the forward 50m FFS. Wasted.
This. He is our best CC player. It's a joke he's not thewre more often. So dynamic in there.Every time he went into the middle he had a positive impact.

Except Castagna. It's a weird obsession that we have with playing blokes out of position and changing it up.
Rarely works at elite level.
I think we need Dusty and Shai playing centre, mid, half forward (where the ball is going), have an open forward line to stop these sides from running half of their team from their HF to their HB lines then kicking it wide to allow them to run to their next point.Every time he went into the middle he had a positive impact.
