What’s with the hoof?

Missing a bit of penetration, hopefully it’s temporary for the great man.

Hard to know what to make of him. That miss from the pocket was so not dusty. That failure to mark not long after when he had his opponent cold - he actually misread the flight! - was so not dusty. It surely is dusty calling the shots re where he is playing as he’s our best CC player. He’s barely attended the centre square.
If he isn’t there more next week it will be disappointing.

He is COOKED said it pre season and saying it now. He can’t even run after the ball, lay a decent tackle, fend off, or kick. Regardless of the quantity of disposals it’s the quality that counts and he’s poor in that area as well.

Dimma needs to retake control and no longer let Dusty do what Dusty does. It’s not working. A spell in the VFL might do him well.

For $1.3 mil I’d expect a lot more.

Just the 3 goals this year from 4 games for Dusty the forward.

In his Brownlow year he was averaging 29.4 disposals & 1.4 goals a game as an elite midfielder.

Currently averaging 19.2 disposals & .8 goals a game as a predominant forward.

Safe to say he's well off his best atm.

Don't expect Brownlows but I hope he can lift a bit. We sure need him to.

What happened to when 'Richmond move Dusty foward he could kick 60-70 goals as a permanent forward'

It's early doors but the chances of getting near that are pretty remote on the available evidence.
I don't expect miracles from a guy who we owe everything to but as a max player I still want a pretty decent return.
Me either. I couldn't care if dosent kick 25 goals this season.
I've seen 3 flags and he has dominated in everyone of them.
He owes me nothing
I owe him the respect he deserves as a champion of the game.

I suspect he could still add a lot as a forward to a team that is dominating around the field in a icing on the cake kind of way ,

But to a team that is struggling, losing contested ball , turning it over when they do get it , and generally chasing butt all day , it can unfortunately look like with his lack of run , he is part of the problem rather than the solution

Much easier to defend him as a fwd than as a midfielder who rolls fwd when feels like it. That was his X factor - opposing teams needed a midfielder who could defend him like a defender but often Dusty would get off the chain in transition between midfield/fwd.

It seems like he’s going through the motions. Needs to lift and play more minutes through the midfield.

Where is he at. To me he just doesn't look that interested; like maybe he's had enough.

Had 25 touches but very little impact on the game. Peak Dusty 25 touches would have won that game for us. His kicking has deserted him and he is missing easy goals. He's one of our greatest ever but this season we are not getting much out of him. Oppo teams don't seem that worried about him.

Permanent forward role isn't working. Good to see him start throwing guys off him at the end though. Maybe he finally remembered who he is.
