Dustin Martin

Kick ass result by Dustin. Just rewind to the start of the year when the media nuffies were trying to hang the guy for harsh language and a chopstick. Now fast forward to a Jack Dyer medal, All Australian, and 3rd in the Bronlow.

Good on you Dustin. You stuck it right up em!!

His best is yet to come. Hope it's at Richmond. Been a long long time since we had a Tiger up on the podium on Brownlow night.

I wonder what McClure has to say about Dusty getting 3 votes in the Brownlow.
Who cares he's an oxygen thief. I can't wait for us to be a powerhouse again if he hates us this much already.

Cotch will get a retrospective when jobes gets taken away..

After the Melbourne game I was seriously worried he was going to have a poor year, he proved me wrong :)

was he deserving of more votes in the first half of the year or did the voting justify his performances
He had a couple of decent games early, but his second half was absolutely superb.

If we are right now not working on a deal for dusty we ARE A MICKEY MOUSE CLUB.
Sign him up before this trade period ASAP for whatever he wants for how ever long he wants.
Then ship out Deledio, Vickery, Conca, Lennon far out man if there is a market get rid of cotchin too and build team around dusty.

Deledio used to aquire prestia==> WIN for us
Pick 6 test Freo for FYFE given FA next year ==> WIN for us
Cotchin if we can trade to GWS for Steele & 1st rounder ==> WIN for us
Cotchin Vickery Conca Lennon picks => should all be under 40 ==> Draft best available for list needs.

You cant tell me if we could manage the above and end up with ....MARTIN, FYFE, Steele, Presta, 1st, 2-3 2nd rounders we are not a better list???

HOWEVER if he wants to leave and has told us to trade him..........then do so involve essendon WE WANT PICK 1

What makes you think he will leave? That would make him the highest paid player at the club.
Because Ralph Carr is about the $$$ and will be in his ear about maximising his earnings.

With the Hawks making the hard calls you'd expect of a professional organisation. With next years retirements of hodge, Burgoyne and Gibson, you'd think they'd have a heap of salary cap space to poach some more big stars

I reckon Martin would be one player who's right in their sights for the end of next season, woulsnt surprise me if they're already talking to his manager behind the scenes getting ready for it.

This thread popping in during the off season always gets me nervous.
