What?

Fyfe's from Kalgoorlie. Priddis? Where'd Swanny go to school? Did he even go to school? Bartel didn't exactly have the silver spoon in his mouth ::)

Gablett goes down as possibly the best ever. I am comfortable with people comparing Martin negatively against Ablett.

Top 5 disposal winners this year and disposal efficiency and kick to handball ratio below:

Neale 73.4% 12.7/19.7
Dangerfield 68.2% 15.8/15.5
Hanneberry 67.7% 13.3/17.2
Treloar 74.1% 12.2/18.3
Martin 67.3% 18.6/11.6
Mitchell 72.4% 11.4/16.9
Hunter 75.2% 16.6/13.4
Kennedy 67.5% 12.6/17.1

There is no doubt that Martin can make the odd howler but this has reduced significantly compared to his earlier days possession wise. He is at th elower end of disposal efficiency in that list above but he alsu has by far the highest kick to handball ratio of everyone. Kicks are typically less accurate (or efficient) than handballs.

Contested possessions and clearances would give even a clearer picture.

cant remember Gablet turning over too many possessions. Martin is top shelf but he does do a few too many nothing kicks and brain farts.

I cant remember Gablet going for the type of kicks Martin does either or with the sheer volume of kicks. I agree that Martin has some bad kicks and what is the most amusing thing is it's usually the dinky little ones.

Scumbags people are way too hard on Martin. Its deplorable.

my bad. In that case, 900K pa. with incentives on top. Got to sell the one in all in, unfinished business thing, which he'll be happy with. Danger is on 850 apparently.

From Robbos likes in today's Hun.

Daniel Rioli

IT’S the contributions from youngsters that should excite Tigers fans and they should be excited about Daniel Rioli. His calmness with the ball and goal in the last quarter, when the Dons were pressing, is the kind of experience that will propel his development. Just 11 touches, but an equal team-high five tackles. He didn’t get votes, but neither did Dustin Martin from Mark Maclure.

Lol Mark Noclue is just a tool who tries to be controversial to draw attention to himself.

Just on Rioli, his goal was good. His 1-2 handball to set up Grigg's goal was even better. He saw it all in slow motion which is a mark of a top player

I liked Rioli's game too and his run and pass to Dusty for a goal was gold and something I hope to see replicated many times in the future, but if Robbo wants to give him votes, who is he leaving out? Dusty? Does Rioli's 11 possessions and 1 goal really stack up that well against Dusty's 43 and 2? Is Robbo saying that he's a clueless hater like McClure? Does he really want to put himself in that company? Largely everyone in the media, aside from McClure, has given Dusty the chocolates for Saturday's performance, and all McClure is doing by sticking to his guns over it is proving how small a person he really is. He made up his mind well before the final siren that he wasn't going to give Martin votes and he even knew he was in the minority in the commentary box, insisted at one point that he wasn't doing the votes, because he knew he wasn't going to find any allies for his view amongst his fellow commentators.
I feel privileged at present to be able to watch Dusty as a Tiger and derive a great deal of enjoyment from watching him, even if the team performance often lets me down.

Gee I hope Dusty doesn't hear about Hardwick, Gale, Chocolate and co being sacked by the masses.

He may just start looking elsewhere?
