Dustin Martin

Said it before, Dusty and Carr have belligerent streaks. They both hate towing the mainstream line.

And they haven't deviated from their original position - decision at the end of the year.

Dusty gambled on his form and won. Good for him, good for us in September.

He'll stay and be our highest paid player.

If we have to indeed match the highest offer and we do, that would be the ultimate win for Dusty, His dad and the merkin. Gets the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

and gets to stay with his mates!

Till they all want to be paid and he realises we can't pay them with our cap!

But I think it would more come down to,

How close we need to get to the highest bid for him not to walk.

I hope he has been given enough sound advice from sensible heads that he realises...

a) the hole he would have to live in buried under all his cash
b) the satisfaction of challenging for a flag for the next three - five years.
c) the benefits of retiring from RFC a one club Brownlow medalist
d) the god like status he will achieve if he is a massive part of the drought braking flag!

Come on dusty money can't buy you love!

I honestly believe Dustin wants to stay, but for North and Brad Scot to go visit Dustin Martins Dad today
tells me their trying to get into his old mans ear to chase the money son!
i love Dusty but RFC i love more.

Is this true or innuendo ?

Once Mr Dusty meets Brad, that should be enough to seal the deal.

"Stay away from that *smile* Dust! What a ***SMILE***"

I would start a crowd funded company to pay for his fine if he punches the crap out of him!

*I Dont condone violence of any type!

And with the NZ Dollar being less than the Aussie give generously!

Reports this morning suggesting North were preparing to fly Brad Scott to New Zealand to meet with Martin’s father Shane were this morning dismissed as totally “laughable” by the club.

Warner said he was in communication with the Kangaroos this morning and he says the club has dismissed the reports in The Australian that officials were to sit down with Shane this week in a bid to persuade Dusty to sign with the club.

Gee if we could follow Hawks, Geelong and possibly Crows with winning the flag a year or two after their marquee player has left I would pack Dusty's bags for him.

No way Martin would go to a bottom team ie Nth.
Forget the angst.
He is staying at Tigerland.
This is all just tactics to up his offer.
Move on people....in the end, one player is not what matters anyway.

North have denied any of what Greg Venom Denhem has reported.

Geez, some nervous nellies around.

He said he'd decide at the end of the year. And he will. Not sure how that makes it less chance he leaves.

No chance of going ILO.
