Dustin Martin

I think Dusty likes his coin.

So for someone in his position who is unlikely to turn up in a high profile position after football, or get a job in the media, he needs to get every cent he can out of football.

The issue doesnt appear to be affecting his performances at the minute in fact quite the opposite.

You can see the joy on the blokes face when we win, how he relates to his team mates, how he celebrated Rioli goal when sitting on the bench against Brisvegas.

He is going nowhere other than ............to the bank.

he likes coin, he also likes to win and be part of some silverware soon.

A win on Sunday will tick off " we are the real deal " part of his assessment of what environment will give him a real chance of the ultimate success. The Keep Martin at Richmond Cup :)

Doubt it. If the player wants to sign, they sign. Think too many wish to blame Carr because they don't want to blame a beloved Tiger player.
You know how you hear stories about AFL players that don't know how to pay their mobile phone bill or boil an egg or that the rego on their car has to be paid EVERY year? I get the feeling Dusty might be that type so I'd believe it if RC was driving the negotiations and making Dusty hold out.

I get the feeling that Dusty knows his value and is asking for his fair market price. It is called negotiation. I also feel that RFC should have over the past few years would have been making moves to be able to pay him his market value. If not the actual value, very bloody close. Mad if we have not got the ability to do so.

Fact that we have signed Rioli says to me that we now have an answer and can move forard with other business.

I sat next to a 74 year old rock music guru at the State of Origin in Brisbane last weekend and we spoke at length - He knows Ralph Carr extremely well. Has his house on it that DM will remain at PR

thanks frank :fing32

love these little PRE discreet tentacles

Yeah, nah. He didn't want to go to GWS but he went through the motions.

If we fail to make finals or give another limp wristed effort this year then he'll be out the door and won't blame him at all.

any more hypothetical caveats to your conditional forgiveness Hazza?

The guy has zero finals wins to his name. Don't blame him for moving for at least one final win

I reckon you're underestimating him H. You are absolving him of any responsibility, which is strange. Dusty would shoulder some responsibility and would want to atone I reckon.

Agree Dusty going nowhere anyone saying anything else is peddling absolute horse *smile*

Nah, Hazza reckons it's all Dimma's fault. Players had nothing to do with it. Innocent as little lambs they are.

dangerfield has more than touch of theatricality about him.

hope he doesn't get up, but you gotta admire his toughness.

if he doesn't play, i hope dusty recognizes his opportunity to score another BOG for free :hihi

maybe we can all finally get some joy on brownlow night

Might be time for you to think about doing the same Harry. You could even join another forum.

Imagine the fun you could have banging on about those finals wins.

Bloody hell, one of the best footy minds on PRE old Harry copping it.
