Unless any one of us is involved in on the negotiations it's all speculation and hyperbole from reporters.
If he wants to play for a team on the up then would think North Tassie wouldn't be in calculations at this stage.
If it's money then I would imagine we would match any bid and make them come to the table.
I don't mind him holding off if it keeps him hungry and performing at his maximum output.

Firstly, there is no way he is going to North - no way!!
My gut feel is that he signs with us. I've been observing a lot of his body language during the match and post match and I simply can't see him leaving. Dusty has a support network at the club. They've tought him life lessons and skills.
One of his closest friends at the club is Cotch. He's not going to leave his mate. Watch the incident where Cotch gets into a wrestling scuffle with Jack Viney in the ANZAC Eve match and you see Dusty sprinting to help out Cotch.
He's too invested with some of the players and Dimma. He'll get his million plus contract with us either way, and he'll be the highest paid player in the history of the club.
Go to North? Forget about it.
