I agree. It would be an absolute disaster if he left.

Franchise player with a capital 'F'

Yeah just get it done so we can move on to poaching players from other clubs.

If he walks it's a abject failure of the administration.

I'm super nervous, history shows the longer it goes in the year the higher the chance he walks.

People need to chill. No decision will be made until the exact details of the salary cap for next year and beyond are known.

You're absolutely right about that one, Chops. None of the big names are signing until it is sorted; their agents aren't stupid.

Well I gotta get some of them right! ;D

we judge Dusty harshly cause hes ours.

Hes every bit as good as Bont, Fyfe, Danger.

Just say yes to his terms, and fill in the gaps around him.

Pointless trying to land a big fish, when you have an absolute monster flopping about the gunwals, perilously close to escape.

Yep. I don't think RFC is trying to lose him though.

Driving into the game , stations ,

Mathew Lloyd said Dustin would go better at Essendon than Richmond because he would have stronger leaders around him ,

Hope someone rang him up after the game asking about the Essendon leaders ability to stop Dustin

Lloyd should be thankful he finished his career under Knights, 'cos General Jimmy would've pumped him full of vitamins and he'd have left the game in disgrace.

Perhaps i am a bit biased i'd go
1) Danger 10
2) Dusty 9.5
3 Bont 9
4) Fyfe 8.9999999

Based on this years form. ( IMHO) Dusty as strong if not stronger than Danger. I think Danger is slightly more proficient on his non preffered, and perhaps has a better "burst" than Dusty. Fine line between the two though.

Would never rate someone as a 10, and I would also swap fyfe with bont, but agree with all else

Don't think Danger is a 10. IMO there is another rapidly approaching that group with even more upside. That little Toby pest.

There's not too many in the AFL that i'd rather punch in the face than Greene and there's not too many others i'd rather in a Tigers jumper. Superstar!

He's started up his own clothes brand. Club should sponsor the heck out of it.

I think Robbo nailed it yesterday. Richmond should (if it hasn't already) put their absolute best offer on the table and find out what sort of man Dusty is. If he still says no then start planing for life without him. If it's a yes then rejoice and move on with building a finals ready team around him.

Do we remember the time when Tigers put out a press release saying it had withdrawn it's offer to Dustin as they believed he was shopping himself around. Very smart move at the time but obviously the goal posts have shifted since then.

Did anyone see the footage of when we kicked a goal (most likely big Nank's, not sure why he wouldn't be on the ground though) & the players on the bench/sidelines going nuts with Dustin celebrating it ? Great footage & his passion clearly for all to see there

And of course with Essendon sniffing around, Robbo wouldn't want Richmond stuffing up the deal, would he?

As lamb22 said, salary cap amendments need to be known.

Dusty had 27 pressure acts on the weekend. Massive number. If anything, it's his defensive side that probably needed work on, but he just keeps taking his games to new levels. An absolulte champion. We cannot lose him.

Bull wants to stay. But his manager is doing what a manager should and is trying to get the best possible deal for Martin. This renewal will probably be the biggest value contract of his career so it's easy to understand the desire to make it big.
