Another mixed bag from Martin. Not a match winner again. For a million bucks a year, I'd want a match winner.

I think he is. Without him (and Rance) we won't win any games. Brisbane will look like an attractive club to play at compared to us if that happens.

I thought Martin was our best along with Rance. Maybe better than Rance. And I think now that Dustin Martin is the best player in the AFL. Along with Rance. Dangerfield maybe third.

It's Martin's best ball use that sets him apart. He's no Clangerfield. He's inspired by hand or foot. After he's carried the team for an hour or so he gets a bit tired and misses the odd one.

A few times when we were *smile*ed he just dragged our chances up off the canvas. Did he do it often enough to win? Nah. Next time.

Champion.
Might not have won the games for us but is definately the reason why we are a chance each week. Top flight elite, no doubt.

Unfortunately he let Neale get away last week and missed the soda that would have won the game this week. A very good player but such things keep him a rung below the elite

So wrong. Not elite???? 99% of football watchers would classify him as elite.

A star, did you actually watch some of his work yesterday? How he can change his mind mid disposal and still hit the target? And you blame him for the 2 losses? Laughable.

He's worth 1.2 M plus.

I cried when we lost yesterday and laughed today when I read some posters saying Dusty not a star.
Ah the emotional roller coaster of following the Tigers.
But seriously, Dusty not elite? Do some of you guys actually watch the game. We would be STUFFED without him. Did you guys pot Richo too?

Yeh, crazy talk BT.

He's not a match winner, other than in those games where he's a match winner. Which might be those games we have won, where he gets BOG in papers and 3 votes from the umps in the brownlow.

I think their argument is if we lose and Dusty plays well it's his fault we did not win. Some of his stuff yesterday was inspired.

He plays with an brutal elegance that no one else does or is capable of.

True.
Without Dusty and Rance we would be smashed every week.
We should be thankful we have these two guys this season as it might be their last one with us.
Enjoy it while it lasts.

If we had 2 dustys in the side we wouldbe 5-1
Dustys the least of our big problems.

You keep peddling that line ToO, respectfully I think you are way off the mark. The bloke had a really good game and along with Rance they can hold their heads high. 20 contested possessions and 5 clearances, he is doing the hard work inside and then settings others up. Full stop.

Careful what you wish for.

Very good player no doubt. Some clearly value him a bit more than me is all.
At the end of the day none of us do the books and know how much we have in the kitty for player$ so dollar figures are next to useless really. Takes more than 1 footballer to win a flag so can say he's worth anything you like but there are always ramifications at the other end of that.

Fair call. I am not too keen on the 1mil either to be honest. It's not great business to tie up so much in one asset, even if it is for a bloke like this. Knowing our luck something bad would happen.

8 votes from coaches. Bar seems incredibly high for Dusty in some supporter's eyes.

:hihi

He can't win most of the time. His inside stats are through the roof this year and yet is still called lazy. I gave Rance the 3 votes and Martin 2 but it was hairline in my opinion.

Spot on. Clearly our best 2 players. His decision making has improved.
