Dustin Martin

We will keep Dusty. We could cut one of 6-8 players not earning their 400+ and give it to Dusty along with his current deal. Too easy.

He's kicked plenty when we need it. Another beast of a game, 35 disposals, 20 contested possies, 5 clearances, 2 contested marks, 3 goal assists, 10 inside 50s. What else do we want from the poor bloke?

Not set shots he hasn't. I don't need stats from you all the time I saw with my own eyes he missed that simple set shot, he's done it plenty of times in the past. You

Houli, B Ellis, Edwards, Conca, take ya pick.

Simply not as good as the media make him out to be.

He's a 'highlights reel' player - makes great publicity for the AFL (don't argues / tattoos / publicity)

But there's a reason why successful clubs have 'no richard-heads' rules - and the RFC is simply not a successful club.

Pies had a dozen "richard heads" in 2010 and won a flag. Having model citizens in AFL is totally over-rated.

I cannot see Dusty playing for us next year. Big dollars on offer with more successful clubs. Gawn. Not that I'd blame him though.

They just showed the kick Dusty had near the 50 with about 3 mins to go. Cameron encroaches and smothers it but play on wasn't called. Should have been a 50m penalty and a certain goal. $&?/ we can't take a trick seriously.

He's elite. In the best 10 players in the league. Without him and rance we'd be spoon material.

He's elite. In the best 10 players in the league. Easily worth over 1 mil. Without him and rance we'd be spoon material.

Agree. But million dollar players stop and call out the infringements.

A great player but to get a million a year you need to kick the goals that matter and he missed a soda in the last

Unfortunately he let Neale get away last week and missed the soda that would have won the game this week. A very good player but such things keep him a rung below the elite

Yeah that made all the difference not the gazillion wasted shots at goal.

I thought Martin was our best along with Rance. Maybe better than Rance. And I think now that Dustin Martin is the best player in the AFL. Along with Rance. Dangerfield maybe third.

It's Martin's best ball use that sets him apart. He's no Clangerfield. He's inspired by hand or foot. After he's carried the team for an hour or so he gets a bit tired and misses the odd one.

A few times when we were *smile* he just dragged our chances up off the canvas. Did he do it often enough to win? Nah. Next time.

Champion.

The *smile* ugly merkin wants a million a year for Dusty?......please.....he just cost us 2 games in a row via brain fades

Exactly. Is very flawed.
