that was brayshaw, what else would you expect? Just one of a large number of media and commentators who hate us.
Those last 3 goals I reckon were due to the fact that the Tigers had the game won, and they were all stuffed due to the warm temperatures. They took their foot off the gas pure & simple.
It's not mentioned in the rules. Just says a 50m penalty will be imposed for any offence that would ordinarily result in a free kick, that occurs after the mark has been taken. As to offences that draw a free kick:
17.3.2 Free Kicks - Prohibited Contact
A field Umpire shall award a Free Kick against a Player when that Player makes any of the following Prohibited Contact with an opposition Player:
...
(c) makes high contact to an opposition Player (including the top of the shoulders) with any part of their body;
I guess it's open to interpretation if the contact is trivial, but I'd like to be as sure of winning Tattslotto that the umpiring department will give this one a tick.

Oh, umpire, I know I hit him in the neck but it wasn't hard.
No way should this be judged on the level of force. In any case, Bell-Chambers could have easily avoided the contact. Late hit, on the neck, 50m - simples.
Plus, do you really want to give the umpires discretion as to whether the hit is hard enough?

Bomber flogs should have a hard look at Hurley's antics to try and get a free. If a Tiger did that they would be up in arms, hypocrites to the max!
People worried about the last three goals ... we have had a draw. The only teams for whom we have to worry about our percentage (unless there is another draw) are Essendon and the Suns (who I very much doubt we will end up equal with) and Collingwood and we are 14% up on them. Very smart to take our foot off the pedal IMO.
100% bomber flogs thinking wow we only lost by 12 points can you imagine if Richmond didn't get those 2 iffy frees. These nimrods don't understand that we were 30 points up with 5 mins left. Clearly took the foot off the pedal, bigger fish to fry next week. GAME OVER
Good pick up. Hurley was smashing Toms broken hand. Commentators didn’t see or chose not to. Too busy looking for Richmond “errors” to highlight, praising Mosquito, and mentioning speed of ticket sales......apparently 2 minutes in case you missed it

I like the fact we got the 4 points in a game when the opponents couldn’t miss in front of goals and we wasted a lot. Bring on the Eagles

Rioli finally got a kick, Balta's enormous, and only going to get better, Baker & Short killing it off half back, Jack R getting his mojo back, plenty to like going forward.
