That kick killed all the momentum. I heard the commentator say it was something like 15 inside 50s to 1 from then on.
Though I would have hoped a premiership side wouldn’t collectively drop their bundle the way they did

meh, teams run away with games. it's round 2. but we were sloppy all night. no.midfield pressure, astburys kick, sheds dropped mark at half back, Jack dropped mark on the fwd flank in the first.... we were just rubbish tonight.
but of more importance. 26-14 free kick count. on the back of last week's umpiring debacle I hope dimma is not so reserves this time.

Not the sole reason we lost but that was a howler at an important time in the game.

Astbury's *smile* kick was followed by B Ellis kick out on full for Sloane to goal. Then edwards dropped simple mark and they goal straight away, then the umps make that tripping call against Townsend and Adelaide skipped away
