David Astbury, Thank You

I love how we can use Dave on the power forwards to free Rancey up to take a lesser opponent and run off and cover other teammates

Good job today. Starting to be solid and reliable. He has shown glimpses before, but its becoming to be a benchmark!

Frees up Rance and after chappies last few seasons is a welcome upgrade!

I thought we d definitely made a fatal error when he lined up on Kennedy, but he ended up doing a top job on the most dangerous key forward in the comp.

I even gave him votes.

I didn't like the match up either, he did very well. Plus Rance is everywhere and always lending a hand, or a fist.

I remember saying before the game, I hope Astbury lines up on Kennedy, if he can keep him from getting away from him on the lead, he'll best him everywhere else.

Then right at the start of the game, Kennedy leads strongly and marks, and I'm thinking, 'oops. Maybe put Rance on him.'

Fortunately, they backed Astbury in, and he had a fantastic day. Rance was also excellent, so well done coaches.

Total gun defender, finally having a good run with injuries. Lets hope he stays uninjured
