Oldie please. We bag the crap out of Vickery the cat and now you want the slowest player in AfL history to play forward
The rebound out of our defence will be like a ping pong ball bouncing of a brick wall..

I'd back Dave over Ty in a footrace if that's what you're saying & certainly in repeat ones.

Astbury's slow decision making with the ball is the issue. Not his foot speed.

This bloke's not going to make it IMO. D- grade player forever. Replace. One on one work is passable at best. Can outmark a D grader but can't spoil an A grader. And not a smart user.

He does team ok with Rance, Grimes.

Keep for a year to flum the eight or trade if we get an offer.

Given Hurley is off the table and Chaplain has correctly retired, this had to be done.

Issues before 2017 - quicken up his decision making/ball use and get fitter - especially from an agility perspective.

well done Dave. Hopefully you remain injury free and occasionally be used as a swingman. Best 22 easily.

3 years the main surprise for me.
Hopefully more improvement left.
Want to see an opportunity this week in the forward line with Moore & Elton picked.
I'll buy you a beer if he starts forward, think the other 2 will start forward.

Not even Brisbane, possibly the worst list in the modern era, didn't want him; but we lock him in for another 3 years.

Only at Richmond. The retirement home for journeymen.

That's my thoughts. Injuries have been the main issue.

Surely on minimal coin.

This.

Cheap, tall, reliable contested mark, young enough to still have plenty of upside - he's missed a lot of development through injury.

Not Rance Mk II, but nobody is.

If you can't upgrade your car, you keep it, you know it's faults but you can never fix them
That's Astbury. Mr Very Average
