imagine how good our structure would be with muscles 8)

Really? The ball is humming out ot the back half the best it has in 10 year, don't think Muscles will help that.

Unless we want more sideways cheap kicks, hot spud handballs and silly free kicks.

May we never see a another footballer with a lack of footballing IQ and poor foot skills enter Punt Road.

Odd, Muscles has only missed one of the last five games, which tends to contradict your observations

:clap :clap Luke gets a bad rap on here unfairly. May not be the best player but neither are any of our other listed players.

Saw Luke train last week, running some sprints. First time I have seen him up close.

Was very suprised at how light in the frame he looked.

But then again, I saw the rest of the team straight after, and they didn't look as big as I had imagined either.

Missed it.

Doing very, very well for a first year KPP. What I love about him is he's a good size at 194/195cm and also has a lot of tools to make it too. Footballer.

Like what I see but nervous about the 2nd year blues. Hate to see him go Post like next year.

I think the trick for him will be to not put on too much weight in one preseason. Post has definitely struggled with the added bulk this year.
Astbury's form this year is also far better and more consistent than Posts little cameos at the end of last year

He spoke very well! Says he's enjoyed coming to a young team, has made some close friends. Has earned the nickname "Swoop" from Lids, apparently because his hair swoops across his forehead. Was asked about Tatyoon, said it had a couple of silos, a general store and a nice cricket pitch, but you'd need a GPS to find it. Was being mentored a bit by Jack when up forward but now he's down back he's learning a bit from Luke McGuane and the hybrid defender Kel Moore.

Has a far more rounded game than Posty. Have no fears Baloo.

Yup, although I thought Post showed some great signs early last year, Astbury has shown alot more in his first year. Looks a good un.

Agree, could see him turning into a Harry O'Brien/Nick Maxwell back man. Maybe has more polish then those two.

Is miles ahead of schedule. Put 5-7kgs on the frame and build his running capcity and you have a footballer. The good thing about Astbury is that he kicks long and and to advantage.

Doesn't need his footballing ability or skills changed just work on the body.

must admit I don't see the comparison to those two at all. I see a proper attacking CHB like Bock

Am happy with how he is progressing and going especially a first year player, however must say in my opinion every time I have seen him he is a little bit lazy. Might jsut be me and could be wrong however have got that impression. HAving said that he is going extremely well for a fi=rst year kpp and think he has a lot to fofer the club.
