Possibly, but then again people thought Buckley going would torpedo Collingwood. Get the right person and things can turn quickly. The board and executive have done enough right to suggest they will make the right call.

Wonder if his swan song interview will include this " it is a different game these days from when I started eg " when the umpire says Stand I CRINGE. When the umpire calls deliberate out of bounds after a desperate kick out of a pack I CRINGE. After a point I CRINGE when it take an eternity to kick it out. There are some more CRINGERS but that is what we have to put up with these days ".

I have been critical of you Damian in the past but admire your decision to depart pronto. That takes guts. Good luck.

Thanks Dimma for the most enjoyable of journeys. You made football enjoyable and exciting. In 2017 all I hoped for was a finals win. The following three years were an absolute pleasure and for me, totally erased the dark times. Look at us now. One of the biggest clubs in league,a proud passionate supporter base and one of the most feared units around even when we are 14th on the ladder. This is the "House That Dimma Built" and for that I will be eternally grateful. Wishing you the very best for the next leg of your life.

Hollands with his injuries is worth less than when first recruited, although he remains a great prospect.
Both a top 5 pick and the player a reasonable ask for a Dusty who will make the club a place every recruit would like to get too.

I generally believe that there is alot of talent on our list Dimma is not leaving us in the same position Alastair left hawthorn.
