Damien Hardwick

In presser just said we realised the Bummers game plan from their 2nds game and realised it was gonna be a problem.....WHAT!!!

Also admitted Jack's sore and shouldn't be playing.
But will we learn from it, or once again, but we have kids coming on or blah blah blah. Has to wear some of the blames for our persistent chokes in close games

So obvious we haven't learnt or practiced anything. Wait til Monday and it'll be 'all is good, nothing happened' at training.

It's been down hill ever since he walked out on Mrs Hardwick
Got nothing to do with it. More to do with having too much faith in ageing premiership stars and young players not up to it, plus not giving them a game plan they can play to. Unskilled teams need a long, contested game plan not a strategy possession retention type game plan. Look at the 2017 tapes!!!!

It's really time that our MC including Dimma make some statements at selection time. Some serial underperforming premiership players who are letting us down too much nowadays with disposal, brain fades and lack of effort need to be dropped. Since the glory years not once have I seen a premiership player dropped to pay for ill discipline or poor form. Time to get fair dinky Dimma

I remember Butler was an injury prone lower pick and wondered early in 2017 why the hell is he a regular.

But we can’t get it to ground, just outmarked again and again and again.
Scott had an extra back, high pressure up the ground, forced us in long, got the ball back then proceeded to use the spare to kick it the length of the ground

Yes but that’s more the players rather than the plan. Think back to 2017, if Jack or Caddy didn’t mark it, they brought it to ground.

So Jack is banged up……here’s an idea, rest him and give Miller or Bauer a crack. Playing injured players hardly ever works well for the team. Any team.

Once again has shown he has no idea how to coach against Brad Scott. Pepper owns Dimma.

There is a reason he tanked the last round of 2015.

Listened to the presser. Basically said what we all saw - butchered it going i50 and didn’t give first options. Kicked it to their outnumber too often.

But yep still doesn’t know how to coach against dropping one back in defence.

Same thing use to happen against north. We would dominate but hack a kick i50 and get slingshot goals against us over and over.

Dimma we gave the ball back to them after so many forward entries
of course we *smile* did that’s what happens when you don’t play forwards in the forward line
Dont expect wingers and back pockets to kick your goals for *smile* sake

Coaching like a bloke who thinks he has everyone covered. 2017-2020 you did Dimma. But not since then,

Playing blokes out of position, playing blokes who are out of form. Has no idea how to coach against Pepper Scott.

I haven’t entered the Hooch debate but beginning to think the end is nigh.

He’s been outstanding but there’s a time for everyone and a fair body of evidence is building. At the very least, some strong conversations and questions need to be asked at PRO. They probably are.

Don’t want him sacked or anything like that, in fact, might be happy enough for him to still see out next year, but I’m thinking 2024 might be it and he gets on board with that ie commits to transition, planning etc

There seems to be a significant group of players that never get dropped even when form sinks. It’s probably as much as who is playing well in the 2s though. Nank straight in looks poor in hindsight.

the big C next to Nanks name mightve had something to do with it.

Come to think of it.

Both Grimes and Nank have been poor since getting the dual captaincy and their games as well as the side as a whole have been bipolar and lacking in conviction.

Scrap the 2 Captains Crap!!

It screams indecision just like the football theyve played the last 2 seasons.

The straight back in thing has failed us several times this year. Just one of the many pieces of evidence that has me beginning to think that time’s close.

Then that campaigner Waite would kick a bag and sink us.
