Damien Hardwick

It’s interesting the different lens premierships add…. Great coach, but I think his overall winning % is around 57….(someone will prove me wrong)… whereas other coaches would be under pressure for similar. Interesting times, great coach and a great achievement

What is Dimma's percentage of wins since the start of the 2017 year?

also, we were a classic momentum side 2017-2020.

we built like clark keating over the course of the year. a fair amount of losses in the early parts of each season

the only season we dominated from the outset was 2018, ironically a failure

What is Dimma's percentage of wins since the start of the 2017 year?
2017: 72%
2018: 79%
2019: 76%
2020: 71%
2021: 41%
2022: 54%
Ave: 65%

Is my best estimate trying to do it on my phone with 3 pages open!

Oh, it's our great and beloved leader's 300th game as coach of the club? And it's the 100th for the bloke who got us into a grand final with one arm hanging off? And our champion rover's 100th for the club? Some inspiring edits will be shown this week you'd imagine.

And you think we're gonna lose?

These mugs don't know what's about to hit them. But you should.

This is a real test of our motivation IMO. If we can't provide some sort of spirited performance it would suggest to me we will struggle to be motivated enough to win the flag. I don't doubt our ability, more the motivation of the multi flag crew.

I thought today's press conference was pretty interesting.

- Clearly thinks Cumberland is best 22 but wants him to develop strings to his bow like McIntosh D Rioli who went back to the 2s and definitely came back better
- Going to rotate older players but wish we had some more Ws (clearly looking at what Geelong did last year and going to stick to a plan (even if it means we might lose a game (my words)))
- Looking to have the team at the end of the year that will win the flag and also in the future win a flag

I think it's the most explicit he has been at voicing what a lot of the chat on here is about - how you give young guys a go and also let old players exit with dignity if they aren't quite performing better than their replacement. I think it means its very much on to see who is best 22 and that it might not include Jack as he is going to get rested. Sounds like great internal comms with expectations already set that the older players won't play every game.

Gday guys, Kano here, Damien should be under the blow torch if he loses this week, being 1 win out of the first 4 rounds after selling the farm to get 2 slow midfielders is not good

Mmm maybe true.
In truth 2016 was an indictment on his coaching, and with the list we had probably should have won mutiple finals by then.
By nature he is a stubborn conservative coach that overthinks it.
2017 happened out of sheer desperation- totally upended the gameplan.
Maybe should have won 4-6 flags.
Personally I am just about over him.
Signed Jack Ross and Merv

Said in the presser that Chimp was made sub for some rule to name the 23 that the AFL needs to clarify......I'm confused.

As pissed off as I've ever seen him in the presser. The rebuild is coming sooner than you think Dimma. I can't see him staying for it. Wouldnt blame him he's done enough.

Comments he said before the game apparently implied that we were already in the rebuild hence the kids playing.

Especially about Lynch in MRO trouble in a marking contest which concussed Keath and wasn't aware of it. Blasted the commentators too.

Good presser.

Didn't try and contain his frustration.

All the supporters know it's Richmond vs the AFL.

Embrace it Dimma. Call out their corrupt incompetence. Unleash fury
