Having played in the same team as Dizzy on a few occasions a few years ago in my time at Adelaide Distrcit Cricket Club I couldnt be ahppier for him, but would never have thought he could do this with the bat. Givesnew hope to all us tailenders nad just shows all we need is an opportunity from our captain.

I'm trying to decide if it was a brilliant innings from Dizzy or if he was facing the worst attack in cricket history, then again Gillespie is no bunny and had 2 test 50's before this against better sides than Bangladesh, but 200 from a bloke who is a bowler is just ridiculous. It all lends weight to Ponting's comments that Bangladesh do not deserve test status.

I too was trying to decide but credit where credit is due. No-one else got a 200 from us. If everyone else was making 200's then maybe you could question it. I think the Bangers have perfomed quite ok. I was expecting an anilihation of them but they made 400+ and had us at 6-89. We'll win 2-0 but they were competitive.
