Why can't we just have 7 or 8 test matches (Vic,NSW,Qld,WA,SA,Tas,NT,ACT?) instead of these Only Dud Intelligence games.

Ponting not happy with Tuffnell's little comedy sketch.Can't see why he is getting upset over a bit of harmless fun.No sense of humour some of the Aussie players.

Channel 9 asked Tuffnell to do a bit of a comedy sketch about Aussies in which he mentioned a few things on the Ashes tour like ponting sending poms in,McGrath's ankle & Warne dropping Peterson.Apparently Tuffnell had sent the poms up in a similar way previously.This is a blatant case of Aussie cricketers sooking & if Ponting wants to use this sort of stuff as motivation for next seasin we're in trouble.

Maybe Punters mummy can write a letter of complaint for him

Mistakes were made by Ponting and the selectors ie omission of Hussey for Katich and not playing Macgill when they couldve but the Poms beat us fair and square, and they know it and still cant cop it.

Agree Craig,Aussies kept believing that out of form players would come good & everything would be all right & we'd retain the ashes.Problem was that didn't happen & Hussey was allowed to fly home to Aust & out of form players remained in the side.Some of the Aussie players are too sensitive & a pack of sooks.

Agree it was harmless, but I think Ponting has a point that it was not appropriate to have on that night when it is the players night like a best and fairest. I am pretty sure we would not like it if Barry Hall cracked jokes about Richmond at their Best & fairest night or cracked joked at the Eagles losing the GF at their Best & fairest night.

Leysy a big fan of Ponting.............but fair dinkum when you get rolled you have to cop the jibes.

I mean this is Phil Tufnell for gods sake not the england captain or coach coming on rubbing it in.

IF we take the ashes back next summer you can be sure Tufnell would come out & cop the criticism back.

They really are taking themselves far too seriously.......

Exactly.
Punting has come out with comments like "sledging is part of the game". Yet when the shoes on the other foot and he cops a bit of his own back he looks very thin skinned.

Australian cricket is so precious it's unbelievable.

All this defensive repeating of the line they've been fed by the media manager until they reckon it's true, the one about how they haven't thought about it that much and have "moved on". :rofl

What was the biggest cricket series in 2005, one of the greatest of all time? Who finally got off the canvas and fought back after sixteen years?

They're acting like it was thank Christ that's over, now we're back in front of our bovine home crowds and we're facing Fidel Edwards rather than Freddy Flintoff.

Far too much How Good Am I? Syndrome going round, that's for sure.
