Cricket

Good to see some life in the MCG pitch these days. Fast and bouncy, with a bit of grass. Exposing flat track bullies. Could probably be a shade less green but better than the roads they used to serve up, or the corrugated shockers of yore.
Yeh, thought the same watching a bit of the cricket today. Bounce and swing, bring it on.

Yeh, Bancroft has seemingly blown his last chance, and Harris has had plenty of opportunities. If he makes a score today, he may get the nod.

Vaughan said the same thing the other day, get McSweeney in, he has the talent. Just get him in the side.
FMD. Bancroft n Harris, both old fringe dwelling pretenders at test level cricket. At least this McSweeny bloke is only 25 n might still be young enough to eke out a test level career.
Oz test side is pretty much pensioner paradise these days. Hit n giggle is where the money n the young kids prance these days, no place to learn how to play the long game.

JFM cracked 3 lovely 4's then went out. He seems to do this sort of thing every time I watch him.
There's no doubt that Fraser-McGurk is a talent, is more a T20 player at this stage I reckon.

McGurk could take note of Pakistan opener Saim Ayub who batted beautifully yesterday. They are both 22, Saim had scored 15 off 30 balls yesterday before flourishing to score 82 off 71 balls, including five 4's and six 6's, as clean a hitting as you could wish to see.

More a T20 player?
Is ONLY a T20 player at best!
