Poms have exposed Wagner as a one-trick pony. Five out of every six balls he's ever bowled have been short so they just sit back and whack it for six.
Yeah, I can't believe he got away with that tactic for so long because he's not much better than medium pace.Poms have exposed Wagner as a one-trick pony. Five out of every six balls he's ever bowled have been short so they just sit back and whack it for six.
He's very accurate.Yeah, I can't believe he got away with that tactic for so long because he's not much better than medium pace.
Agree 100%, he would've been a match winner, just like Gilly was, and more importantly he would've been just what Australian cricket needed. I was at the Waca when Gilly belted the Poms scoring his ton off 50 odd balls. He's very accurate.
Watching Joe Root reverse scoop Southey for six in the first over of the day I can't help ruing how many Tests Maxwell would have turned for Australia if we'd Baz as coach instead of Langer.
Huh? Starts on Wed doesn't it?Does anyone know why there are 3 months between the 2nd and 3rd tests in India?
Bloody idiot Poms, way smarter to give your bowlers a spell, put an extra 150 runs on the board in rapid time to ensure the oppo have absolutely no chance of getting back into the game, then come back hard with freshened bowlers.Poms showing how hard it can be on bowlers enforcing follow on. Kiwi's 0-133 after being rolled for 209.
I think it used to be an automatic decision to enforce follow-on but I think it's more often not done now? You can understand why some teams are reluctant to do it.
It was plenty, 3 on the trot to the girls. The Aussie girls got 156, hopefully it's enough.
When should you enforce the follow-on? Just about never.
Might have cost them the match. What a moron. 9 down now. If the Poms had 25 overs they could get them tonight!Bracewell run out in a junior cricket like gaff, how embarrassing. NZ 7/478, leading by 252.
