:clap :clap :clap WWWWAAAAAAARRRNNNNEEEEYYYY!!!!! :clap :clap :clap

What an absolute champ, a real champ.

Commantators where saying that 200 would of been a good total after about 20 overs gone, Aus are looking at 250-300 from my point of view.

Day 2 Session 1 will be very interesting

Go Aussies!

Re: Cricket

Tend to agree Tannerztigers - it will be a very interesting day today. The aussies 2 down already and who knows what the weather holds today but looks like there is still plenty happening with that pitch out there.

Oh and by the way, have a great day at the cricket Rosy.

Re: Cricket

Great to be in the crowd yesterday for Warney 700th wicket
Sat in the southern stand, fine leg for a right hander bottom level 8 rows from the front.
Great bowling by Clark and McGrath then Warne to back up their good work with 5 wickets.
England had a shocker except for Strauss and cameo from Flintoff the rest looked ordinary.

Collingwood innings was one the worst I have seen looked bad for a bloke who made 200 3 weeks back, Pieterson needs to bat at NO 4 but needs to use his brain when batting with the tail, instead of trying to get 4 and 6 early in the over on a big ground (they would have cleared the fence in England) needs to bat like Hussey and Steve Waugh did with the tail and work the 2 to bring the fielding side into confusion. England had 4 no 11 batsman so they would have been happy to get 20 runs from them.

Will be interesting first couple of sessions today, expect Haydos to stonewall himself in for a few hours (or attempt to).

Re: Cricket

Not looking too good. I thought we were going to amass a decent score, roll the Poms and chase a small target. Now, batting last on a pitch that's seen 15 wickets fall in less than 4 sessions it looks very ominous.

Re: Cricket

Warne,s script writer hasnt finished his job yet.Warne to comeout today and make a 100 :banana :banana :banana :banana

Re: Cricket

Hayden 100
Symonds 100

England are in disarray, everyone getting a bowl.

Symonds finally playing his natural game and making me look silly for saying he is no good in tests

Re: Cricket

Can't help but laugh.

The unwashed look like breaking through and geting into the game, then get mullered all over again.
Symonds and Haydos stand up and deliver in style both scoring over 150 each.
7/372 with Warne and Symonds beginning the day tomorrow.

My concern is my 4th day members freebies going to waste if the poms cave in tomorrow.

Another reason to hate them if they cheat me out of decent drinking session!

Re: Cricket

ROY THE BOY 150 no :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap

An excitement machine that can turn a game and always in the play.

I luvs this guy well done Roy ...... keep it up and grab your chance, his versatility is great for the side.

Agree. I really hope this is the innings that convinces him that he belongs. Like the 140 odd in the World Cup a few years back, proved he could play at the level. Hope that this innings isn't just a flash in the pan, and it proves the turning point.

Re: Cricket

The Poms just don't seem capable of stringing 3 decent sessions together and with Australia someone ALWAYS steps up when the situation gets tight.

Re: Cricket

Went yesterday and have to say "ROY" has to be Australias greatest cult hero, weather peolpe rate him or not he seems to be loved by all, fantastic atmosphere and a great day

Re: Cricket

Yep, credit where it is due and Roy bloody done well yesterday, hopefully this will be the start of a good test career for the guy. Self belief is a amazing thing and hopefully he can go on with things. Hayden was magnificent and to see two good mates just having a good time out there was fantastic.

Now for today - can warne do the job with the bat and get that century which has alluded him. Doubt it but what a way to go out on his last match at the G. Wouldn't mind just looking over his scriptwriters shoulder today to have a peek... :hihi

I think the scriptwriter penned him down for lazy 40.
