Wow listening to Morrison tonight Australian life has changed massively.

Every single thing we love to do has been robbed from us from this virus.

It's bloody sad.

Going to be devastating for so many. Unbelievable. :oops:

Apart from when it's essential, all overseas travel is now banned.
They didn't say that its been banned because they are not screening returning travellers :mad:

I wonder how long people will put up with this *smile*? Have we grown to be such a complaint head nodding unthinking group of people? I can only hope that the answers are not long and no.

According to some on here we should drag people kicking and screaming to prison if they dare see their family for a birthday party! How can self respecting people accept such an affront to their liberty! The road to serfdom is paved by fear and it seems the road is well ahead of schedule.

Wouldn't even have dreamed this up 6 months ago. I reckon crime is gonna increase exponentially....

Can you imagine what's going to happen to the crime rate? It'll take years to get the economy back on its feet.

One of the Ruby Princess passengers has passed away already. Must've been a rapid deterioration. 11 Australians listed as critical.

Fewer people on the streets = easier to identify the bad guys. Getting locked up with potential carriers is a bad career move right now.

I understand where you're coming from, but the government hasn't suddenly gone communist. This will not be used to restrict our freedoms once it's over.

How about the thousands of people that will be unemployed? How about the suicide rates that will lead to? How about the disruption to supply chains and production that will leave everyone impoverished? You seem unconcerned about those people!

You can’t seriously believe that? The government will magic up powers for itself that it will never give up. It is for the good of the people after all!

Very much doubt it. If it happens then you can say I told you so. And they won't be in government much longer.

Approaching 500 new cases today. There is no other known solution to this.
