Excellent that the Feds are finally treating it as a high priority, some good news in that article.
Extremely disappointing that we are in this situation - no national campaign to combat vaccine hesitancy, particularly given the hysteria over Astra Zeneca, chronic undersupplies of Pfizer, and terrible distribution to GPs and pharmacies. The fed gov blame game and buck passing over private aged care facilities is pathetic.

Hopefully most already isolating. Either way it's justifying the wise decision to lock it down.
I hope Merlino & his crew get on the front foot early with the presser this morning. Victorians deserve to know early what it the status of these cases.

We just can't get out from underneath things in Victoria. In this latest episode, if it wasn't bad enough that we had a cleared quarantine person from SA enter the state infectious and start a chain of events, we then had the first cluster of people go all over Melbourne and Victoria while infectious for a long period of time seeding a huge amount of exposure sites. Then, when we seemingly begin to get all of that under control, we're now presented with the highly infectious Delta strain which nobody seems to know how or where it started.
That's what I thought. This feels all so familiar. Feels like we are heading down a dark path.
If they are all linked, then I think we might be ok.
If he was the missing link then there would be Covid cases popping up all over NSW. So far thats not the case.
The finger is being pointed at those who've been granted exemption from hotel quarantine.
