Coronavirus

They identified and deep cleaned the wrong woolworths when the first case was identified. says quite a bit about our contact tracing.
I don't think "deep cleaning" the wrong Woolworths is the issue.

Testing and isolating the staff and shoppers from the wrong Woolworths is more of a problem. Most shoppers probably wouldn't have tested and isolated, the staff I assume would have been mandated to.

I find it peculiar that the error was noted on Friday, and this latest outbreak started almost immediately afterwards. I wonder what made the contract tracers double check the exposure sites almost two weeks after they were issued?

How accurate is this testing anyway? Anyone explain the Conor McKenna case last year? Positive one day, negative the next?

I wonder if those complaining about the contact tracing are the same ones refusing to scan QR codes where ever they go

Why do you say that?, the new Victorian mandatory QR registration comes into effect tomorrow
This city's turned into a ghetto with barely anyone working in the buildings and a lot of small businesses closed or broke.

Dunno about that. When they moved to over 50’s the search engine produced an abundance of GP’s to book a vaccination through.

Certain GP’s have Pfizer supplies.

Pretty sure either Sutton or Foley mentioned it, that 40-49 needed to book and only with state controlled facilities to get the Pfizer.

Was talking about the COVID prevention powers-that-be this morning with my old manager. His sister is involved... he said she's book-smart but life-stupid, and these are the kind of people making the decisions. Didn't fill me with confidence!

That's really compelling evidence of... something

On the basis of his opinion of his sister.
Obviously he talks to her and sometimes they discuss her work, given it's of topical interest.

He's had long experience in management himself and is the type that hires people over formal qualifications.

It came about after I said they seemed to know what they're doing. "Funny you say that..." was the reply.

Just an anecdote, we use them all the time to disparage the AFL. Sorry for slighting Dangerous Dan's government.

As mentioned, the woolies receipts were wrong. Both the Epping and Epping North stores say "Epping Woolworths".
the person said they went to Woolies Epping and the receipt said Woolies Epping, but the contact tracers should have known better.
