Coronavirus

The partisan politicking by everyone but Andrews is becoming tedious.

Get your blinkers off. Andrews and Sutton have ran their own race and have refused to listen or accept support from federal health Department on so many issues. Our contact tracking and health department seem to be below what’s required. NSW have shown us it can be better handled.

Our state public service more interested training for diversity and inclusiveness than actually protecting the staff involved in the hotel quarantine. By having protocols that put health first, with a decent contact tracking system we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Deflect and blame Dan. Deflect and blame Dan. And it’s not working, which is pleasantly surprising considering how much the right controls the media narrative.

No fan of Darcy but thought he was pretty good
He was good, and he had Danny boy floundering. He’s looking more and more out of his depth is Dan. Feel sorry for him.

Theres been no cause of death for David Darcy (that I can find) and I’m wondering if it might’ve been suicide hence Luke Darcys emotion.

Our contact tracing was poor, now it is meeting its targets and they even appear to be innovating with technology but of course the LNP won't say that. And I agree Andrews in general should have been willing to accept more support initially.

IIRC the issues from the hotels were mostly to do with the hotels where the Federal Government approved security contractor was providing security.

I think the difference here is Scotty and Josh are now trying to score cheap political points with public statements critical of Victoria, I haven't seen Dan doing that yet, except for the "who wants to go to Adelaide" comment maybe. Dan and the Vic Government have made mistakes, for sure, but that's a different argument.

Deflect from what? And who should be being blamed?

How can Morrison, Hunt etc. be selling a vaccine to the public that may not ultimately be successful yet?

How are they "selling"?

All they said was that we have signed agreements to have the vaccines made here subject to passing all the tests. No selling there.
Also said there were other companies developing/trialling a possible vaccine and they would seek similar agreements in time. Again no selling.

If you think they are selling something then I can I interest you in shares in a big metal bridge in Sydney??

both state and feds are to blame for the quarantine fiasco. and considering 99% of the aged care cases come under the feds jurisdiction (not to mention funding cuts and a clearly incompetent minister), its 99% their fault.

They are using hope as leverage to push agendas. That's selling.

Deflection and blame throwing are useless at this stage and I wish whoever does it would cut it out

Deflect what? So Dan hasn't made any mistakes? Who else do you think we should blame for his gov't mistakes?

Interesting listening to a Joe Rogan podcast with Elon Musk, they commented that restrictions in the US have been too harsh. Imagine if they had to live under the VIC restrictions?

When doesn't any political party look to score political points when the opportunity presents? Dan doesn't and hasn't done it because he is simply not in a position to. All he can hope for is to beat the timeframes in his road map and manage the ongoing virus numbers better. NSW and other states have shown it is clearly possible. Hopefully he and his gov't can do that. Until then he just has to cop his whack and get on with it.

Well I think it's Kennett for the state of the VIC health system and scomo for aged care outbreaks & quarantine fiasco.
