Contract List

C Ellis is going to have to have a good year if he wants another contract.

I have faith, but must make every appearance a winner this season.

Hopefully the full pre season sees him have a break out year but agree, this is the season it must happen.

Corey would have played more games for the tigers had he arrived 6 or so years ago. Obviously a lot more competition now making it harder for the likes of Corey and Menadue. Hopefully there time will come and they will be flying when it does happen.

Corey Ellis looks to be a slow burn , Hope the wait is worth it but an introvert from what it appears - Hardly see him mentioned or interviewed

Head down work hard and let the footy do the talking is the best advice you can give a young player I reckon - hope he can step up this year which he might but so might others

Probably not contract related but if graham is that good, how good is Bolton going to be?

I say Shai is the missing link for this year particularly if we are going to play the same style and structure. Has pace, marking ability

Note: all players with contracts for next year and beyond are premiership players, and our most recent draftees.

Premiership players still waiting on extensions are Grigg Bacha Towner and Broady.

Still waiting.
Garthwaite updated.

Is it just me or does anybody els think its interesting that we have so many players out of contract but no player announcements of players re signing but Collingwood has had 4 just in the last week.

When I heard Gale, or maybe Balme, recently answer a Lynch question, it left no doubt we were into him up to our eyeballs. Then the mass Pies signings was another signal that Eddie finally admitted defeat.

Or they agreed to a contract and the pies now know how much they have and getting the rest signed up ??

Nah. That would be arse backwards. We’ve got plenty of players waiting to be renewed. If we were out of the race the first thing we would do is start signing our boys up. And because all’s far in love and war, expect Eddie to make a play for a couple of our boys.

Wouldn't the Pies instead make sure they could re-sign de Gooey before worrying about the flotsam and jetsam?

Not necessarily. Its plausible. Agrees to join Collingwood, so they know how much they can pay the others. We may be reviewing other targets now before we know what our likely list will be for next year

I think Miller has signed a 1 year extension too DDT
Miller was originally signed for 2 years from the NAB Draft so he finishes end of 2019. He has not had an extension.

Broady has definitely signed - 2 years
Broad signed a one-year extension in September last year taking him to end of this year. Where did you see the announcement of an extra 2 years? https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/to-richmond-tigers
