Connors

Hey everyone chill out , whilst young dan in some peoples opinions shouldnt be on the list, these circumsatnces are pretty sad and we should respect a family in these times.

What circumstances ? Most on this thread only know he didn't go for "personal reasons". Do you have more information into these personal issues ?

Been mentioned on BF that it's to do with a family matter and not for alcohol reasons.

It's pretty simple for Dan. If he wants to stay on the list he has to get on the field. He really needs a big year or will be gone.

Exactly.

That's the thing. It seems there are some who are jumping to conclusions due to his prior behavioural issues as possibly being involved in his personal leave.

tiff??
cant really see how so.
balooga reckons connors should have been delisted. i reckon he will struggle for games.
as an aside JLT reckons Connors should play midfield.

who do you agree with?

It is very difficult to agree with Balooga, especially this new clawesque version so yes, I agree that I think Connors will struggle for games, though definitely wouldn't be writing him off.

We shouldn't be speculating about family, mental, personal, physical or whatever issues if we don't know the facts. It's not only unfair on the person being discussed but it could also put us at risk of legal action.

Let's hope whatever Dan's problem is, if he even has one, is overcome soon and that 2012 sees him develop into a very valuable Tiger for us.

Im liking the new Brooding Balooga hes not a fully fledged Darkie yet but we'll keep working on him ;)

Connors Meh.

Nothing has changed guys. I've never had any time for any player that would prefer to be somewhere else other than our club.

It will pain me when I have to do pymps points for them next year if they get a possie in the seniors.

Needs to have a huge 2012 to stay on the list. Has huge upside but there are serious doubts obviously by the club.

Agree, it was a little over 12 months when Dan was playing B&F type football, definitely has the talent.

Hoping this latest breach of team rules is the turning point for Connors, always liked this kid, can bench a decent weight for his size so has core strength, but has he got the mental strength to become an elite footballer? Last chance saloon for partyboy

definately has the talent and there are easily spots in the team for him if he wants it..... HF is a weakness for us i think and he can easily play that roll rotating with nahas, lids and martin through the guts too..

But how much does he want it after not getting his move to another team..... this is where we see what the guy is made off. does he shove it up us and show what he can do in spite of not getting his move or does he cave...

I like Connors but it's up to him.

Re-invent himself , work/train hard and he will be re-signed .

Doesn't knuckle down and show he wants an AFL career , it willbe all over.

Good talent
Discipline and kicking accuracy are the weaknesses
He gets his hands on the ball as well as anyone
Could be an ideal mid forward if he could knuckle down to the discipline needed for AFL
Must be on his last chance, if he hasnt already used it
