The hivemind swings behind him and now the hivemind swings against him. If he has a good game next week it will swing back again.

I promise that he can have 50 possessions at 100% efficiency and I will still say we should trade him.

Yes, we know...

Reading my first thoughts on Connors, personally think I got his vision wrong, if he could improve that with his concentration, he would be one of the pegs pegged

Yeah I could have worded some of those original posts a whole lot better at the least I am consistent with my feelings.

Didn't bother to read the whole link thread but you appear to have been fairly well on the money about Dan, brigadier. He's had his fair share of incidents in his time at the club, lets hope the kick up the date after the Sydney game has been truly beneficial and helps him get his attitude on the right track longterm, not just for this season.

Lived up to the one trick pony tag beautifully today.

Atrocious kicking and poor accountability.

Need Cousins to crack him in the head again. ;D

Whats disappointing for me is that he burned the ball in space and with time.

There was very little given for the guys coming off half back.

Is playing really well... until he kicks it.

It is absolutely killing the team to have our half back quarterback missing the target so much. Carlton let him go free today in the hope he would kick like he did against the D's. He did.

Like you said there were times he had plenty of time, butchered and turned it over as if he didn't give a *smile*. His chasing today was very lazy.

This is the bloke many have him at half back for the future. :hihi

OTP!

Improved when played on the wing some long direct kicks. Was shocking coming off half back turned it over nearly everytime.

Teams also know he is one sided....got corraled on his wrong side a few times. Needs to be able to kick on both feet!

I'll be happy if he can perfect it on just one at the moment.

What a waste of a day seeing such rubbish served to the tiger faithful.

17 kicks, 9 h/bs, 5 tackles, 9 marks, 5 contested possessions, 21 uncontested possessions, 7 clangers
Disposal efficiency of 58%.
No wonder we got our arses handed to us on plate when backmen get such a disproportionate amount of contested v uncontested possessions. Seems that he played wide of his man.

Kicking was much better earlier in the year. Dunno why it's dropped off, might be getting tired, who knows.

Won't make it unless he starts hitting targets like earlier in the year, agreed. His turnovers have been deplorable.

OK fair point he may be tired. FFS Barnzy the whole bloody team looked 'tired' out there today, you & I know that's not an excuse.

He had an 8 week spell.

Very true. Certainly not trying to make excuses for him, his turnovers aren't good enough. Just thought his kicking was much better earlier in the year, don't know why. Can pull off some very nice passes then will totally miss the easiest of passes.

Hi Guys. :)

Dan had a bad day, but he wasn't Robinson Caruso. He will be better for this season and hot to go next year I hope!

Trade bait.
ill admit when the team looks at its worst, connors seems to be one of the worst offenders. tho when we play well he shines as one of the best. consistency will come with experience!!!!! EXPERIENCE, comes with time, time comes with patience. patience is something that the majority of the people in here dont have. trade bait. F%$K. to many idiots around that do not have any educated opinion and shoot the mouth off at kids.
theres no point trying to reason with someone that wants to offload a 22 game, 21 year old kid.

Conner's was crap today, man up! his kicking was just lazy.
Moore and him today were carlton's 23rd and 24th players.. they were rubbish.
the entire back-line especially the half back-line was disgraceful.
but its early days, we will improve hopefully..
