Some of you need to go to a few VFL games, if Conners is part of our future heaven help us, brainless, lazy, low skilled turnover king, will need a full labotomy to become an AFL player

Then how did he manage to get so many BOGs?

Connors' value will come from allowing Deledio to move back into the midfield.

Don't know. I have really liked the look of Lids back there. Would rather Dan stays there as well, and maybe Newmo finds a new possie.

Would rather Lids kicking the ball inside 50 than from our defensive 50!!

Conners reads the play well and moves well and his possesion tally has put him in best player contention some weeks, there is also an agenda to promote that he has learn his lesson and is no longer a drunk or a wanker, that remains to be seen. If VFL possesions were analyzed his would not be impressive, calls young players back to cover his man so he can tear up the ground then sprays the ball, has no peripheral vision, sees a jumper and delivers with no concept of what surrounds that player, time and time again at Coburg, Post, Gourdis and Morgan have to cover his man while he is 80 meters away up the ground and is the one who turned the ball over.
The Williamstown game was a perfect example, Conners in the best players 25 possessions played on Moles also in the best with 3 goals on 3 occasions Moles was 60 meters in the clear and inside 50 while Conners was in the middle of the ground Gourdis had to leave Little to charge down Moles who popped the ball over the top to Little who kicked the goal, 2 of the 5 goals Little kicked belonged to Conners, If Gourdis had stayed on Little, Moles would have strolled in and kicked the goals, if Moles had of finished with 5 or 6 goals would Coners have been in the best players, you tell me. No agenda, but if Richmond are going to fight back it will be with a team that plays for each other not themselves.

You cannot have a lobotomy if you are brainless. Notwithstanding let's assume you meant Connors is not that smart - then by having a lobotomy this would make him even less smart; and according to you that would be to a level of an AFL player - which is a dig at AFL player intelligence, not Connors. I am sure this is not what you were attempting to say. Which makes you the brainless one.

A lobotomy is to address a mental issue i.e. behaviour, not address intellegence (or lack of it).

I think Connors would be more likely to say "I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy". ;)

I just hope he pulls his head in, because he has ability.

Your last comment is spot on... good players can't come at the cost of playing for your teammates.

Hopefully the suspension has changed his attitude, because there is no dispute he has had a poor attitude for much of his career.

He's actually one player we have who is capable of doing both at the same time.

Maybe his opinion on Connors form at Coburg is far from the truth though.

Bring Connors back to seniors next week

That would just make a mockery of his whole suspension and tell other players it's okay to do what he did as long as you're talented. He's only got a couple of weeks to go, I have no doubt he will be straight back in.

I'd bring him back,8 weeks was too long

Lids was the one that got us back in the game in the 2nd quarter.

exactly - when he pushed up into the middle late in first and early in the second we got back into the game. then he went back again and it was game over. Hardwick is making a massive error playing lids in defence. It's Wallace all over again. we can't rely on kids in martin and cotchin to win the midfield battle. also cousins is getting old and foley is coming back from a long injury. Deledio is best placed at the moment to drive the midfield group. even if he gets the best tagger this will release the pressure off the others. hopefully connors and tambling can come back in and release lids into the middle. he is quality and we need him where the game is won or lost.

Did he go into the middle though? The commentators on TV said so, but they honestly wouldn't know if their ass was on fire. Looked to me on TV like he was playing his usual position of an attacking HBF. Anyone that went to the game??
