Chris Knights

Couple of handy games last year n maybe a couple of magoos games this year. Unless he started with a three year deal, then sadly for him it might be cleanest to just cut our losses n run at seasons end.

He is he still on the list, geez

Sometimes u gave no idea zips....what would u like Richmond to do with him after he did his knee
Bet if your employer sacked you whilst u were hurt at work u would squeal like a pig
Dumb post

Wouldnt be a good look if we sacked him and he is actually able to play footy next year. Who knows... whatever Chris wants to do in regards to giving next year a shot is what should happen.

Decent player, whose worth is inflated by the fact that we simply don't have enough of his type, the half forward flanker who can roll through the wing/middle, a bit like how people pump up Whitey or King.

These guys are average players, made to look better by the fact we have virtually NO depth in their respective positions. More poor recruiting imo.

Why? He was injury prone n struggling to stay on the park when we threw him a life line. Played a couple of scrappy games, started to find a bit of form n blew up again. Has missed almost a season and a half and may get back in time to play a handful of reserves games to finish off the year. Unless he has some kind of miracle resurrection it's unlikely he'll have time to get match fit n hardened enough to suddenly star at senior level.
Perhaps if he shows enough over the last few weeks he might get another season, if not, he's had an extra two injured years of unfortunately lost opportunity, no regrets, no blame, thanks for coming we wish you well. Sadly that's the reality of his situation.

Agree.
He is not the answer.

Who have we got on the list that is a ready made replacement for a Knights on song? I can't think of any right now who don't need more experience.
Knights if he can stay fit and uninjured is an asset to our list. His trouble is staying uninjured.

That's the point.
He was injury prone and in Adelaides 2's when we recruited him.
Has lost another yard since then, and cant get on the park.
If he was a racehorse they would be getting the screen out.
A good example of Hartleys retread taken too far.

O'Hanlon seems to be the most likely. Booming kick, plays mid and half forward. Needs games and another pre-season won't hurt.

O'Hanlon would be lucky to stay on the list.

That is the crux of problem with the club. We have players on our list who may have the potential to succeed but the policy of our match day selection is that for some reason that I cannot fathom old hacks, out of form players and non AFL level players picked before the youngsters so their potential is not displayed. Even when the kids get picked they are dropped again before being given a fair go

Exactly right. I'm not sure how O'H would be labelled as lucky. Just 20 years old. Others who are definitely past-it or given umpteen chances from average performances in the 2nds should be the lucky ones.

Good luck to knighter in his return this week , hope he gets a bit of luck with injuries he's due .A skilled half forward would be handy .

Definitely one worth persisting with and risking next season.

this lad is a good player and very handy to have up and about - please injury gods give him a break.

Agree - best of luck to him. Hope the strings and other soft tissues hold up in the cold of a Saturday night at Geelong.

Yeah, at least deserves the chance to have a go at it. Hopefully he can stay fit for the rest of the season, do a full pre season and we may get a few good games out of him in 2015.

Chris knights is going to take us to premiership glory!! Back to back
