Yep rushing back Soldo shows we have lost complete faith in Miller.
I can't see us playing Samson, Miller and Soldo. Samson needs more time in the ruck and if Miller plays, that would indicate that Samson would play as a forward only.
This is from a supercoach page but shows what a number of us highlighted about Samson on Monday. His taps are good taps. He didn't win as many as we would have liked, but was up against Gawn and Grundy who used their bigger bodies well in the 2nd half. If Ryan is taking 2nd ruck he will be rucking either against a tired Witts or Chol. 54% hit out to advantage rate is as elite as they come.

Yeah. Foot the last few months. I’ve lost track of all of our injuries and Soldo’s part in them all.
2 x past knee issues ? If so, even more reason to bring him back slowly from this I’d have thought.
Don't see why they would name Soldo in the squad if the plan isn't to play him. Mind games maybe?
Yep. Soldo inclusion reeks of desperation. No way he is ready for a full game of footy especially in the seniors. Calls like these usually end in failure. Soldo needed at least 2-3 hitouts in the 2s. His influence on the game will be as good as Millers with the need to be subbed early in the 3rd.
I would have given Miller a rocket and told him he had this game if he wanted to have a future at the RFC. Make it his make or break game. Has to show aggression and intensity or he will be playing 2s for the rest of the year. Bit of tough love!

Want Sonsie and Ross in. Would be happy for Cotchin to also be managed.
Any consideration with giving Young a crack in the forward line? Could be wrong but thought he was a fwd when he first came down to the club.

a rocket for Miller would be very apt IMO.Seriously if I had him as an apprentice he would be pushing crap uphill for awhile given his timid efforts.
Yes but I have no idea why it takes guts to drop a player that is not performing. Because he won the Richmond Man award? ? As I keep saying, Ross got in the best in his last AFL game - dropped
Miller just doesn’t have the aggression to play AFL. For his size he plays small.
No faith Miller and limited faith in Ryan as a ruck at this stage.It’s a staggering move.
Desperate bid to try and somewhat mitigate Witts in ruck contests and that'd be about all they'd be hoping for.
Hed have to be lacking match fitness after a fractured foot and I won't be expecting too much in regard to slickness of disposal and touch.

Is Miller the type of guy you can give a rocket. I like his potential, but he seems to be the type of guy you need to constantly be giving praise and having to "pump air into his tyres" to get him to perform. Not sure a big man like this is gonna survive, without being elite at something.
I think if you gave him a rocket, he'd fold and end up finishing the season in the 2s.
