Our rehab guys need to be sacked if hes out with same injuryRushed Soldo back and apparently back out again with the same foot issue?
I reckon it is considering the rain where we don't need too many talls.Hopefully it's more a tactical change, with Soldo having to be listed as an injury to effect the change. If he's back for next game or the one after, it's not too bad. Out for longer and it looks as though it's another fitness *smile* up.
It's going to be wet and slippery, similar to the Footscary gameHopefully it's more a tactical change, with Soldo having to be listed as an injury to effect the change. Doubtful, Dow (hopefully) or Mansell. So Biggie added to emergency list, will he be the sub as insurance to replace Miller if not performing can play ruck and back. Was performing his ruck duties well in the VFL before getting injured.
I agree with that but doesn’t stop them working hardSonz isn’t a winger neither is Ross but hey let’s continue to play them out of position
I just gave one example of the vfl game, it was petulance that gave away the 50 but he was horrible for the whole game. 8 possessions and no goals in the vfl from memory. For a player of his ability it was poor. He was undisciplined and petulant.Come on mate. Giving away a 50?? Half our team should be dropped for that discretion.
What you are doing is focusing on the one negative aspect to his game in which he perhaps overreacts to losing a contest or missing a goal etc. Kid has only started playing senior football. It is obvious his battle is mental which is probably the biggest weakness for most if not all youngsters starting out their career.
We are expecting Noah to become our forward saviour because the coaches have decided to try and play our slowest players in the one forward line. I could say the same thing about MRJ who was asked to provide the pressure of 2-3 players who couldn't chase. Overran himself and now has a hamstring injury.
To me Dimma has gone away from his philosophy on concentrating on his players strengths rather than weaknesses. We can say he is trying to educate Noah by dropping him for poor form but the reality is i have never seen Dimma so blatantly refuse to give praise to a player when they have played well. You could tell he was itching to get him out of the seniors. One bad game and he is done. Yeah he went quiet in the Dees game but at the end of the day he had done his job with 3 goals. What has Mansell done in all the games he has played?
Just seems everything we had done to change the mentality and culture at the end of 2016 has slowly gone out the door. Dimma talking about vulnerabilities and embracing your weaknesses etc. Seems to have gone back to his fickle ways and doesn't game day show that. Funny thing is, Dimma is probably just as bad as Noah in cracking the sooks.
It’s all attitude for Cumberland right now. He loses concentration far too often when things don’t go his way.I just gave one example of the vfl game, it was petulance that gave away the 50 but he was horrible for the whole game. 8 possessions and no goals in the vfl from memory. For a player of his ability it was poor. He was undisciplined and petulant.
Dimma has been big on embracing weaknesses but he has been equally as big on playing your role and abiding by team rules.
Noah has enormous ability and upside but imo he too often doesn’t play his role when things go poorly.
I remember a few years ago the same discussion about shai Bolton who got dropped a few times. He still slips back into old habits some times but he is way better as a team player than he was 4 years ago and I hope and expect Noah will be the same
Assuming that Soldo is not injured and the change is weather related tactical then I would have thought that Miller would have been a better change and we keep a bona-fide ruck but what do I know.I reckon it is considering the rain where we don't need too many talls.
Well he has been named in the ruck so if he does that he will be best on ha haNow if Cumberland kicks a handful that'd be nice
I will play Biggy every time before Miller
at least Biggy is athletic and can jump at the ball
I agree but he just came back from injury last week and I don’t think he even played a full gameI will play Biggy every time before Miller
at least Biggy is athletic and can jump at the ball
It will be an interesting discussion if he doesNow if Cumberland kicks a handful that'd be nice
I watched Jay Schulz run around in the VFL at Casey one day and not touch it. The footy was messy and did not suit a forward like him.I just gave one example of the vfl game, it was petulance that gave away the 50 but he was horrible for the whole game. 8 possessions and no goals in the vfl from memory.
