Changes versus Port

Hill destroyed Caddy last time but tonight couldn't get near it against Pickett
Don't know about destroyed him. Hill butchered it a lot, had only 11 efficient disposals. Caddy had the same number of efficient disposals in that game. This game Hill had 7, Pickett had 5. Pickett was very poor this game overall, Caddy is a proven finals player.

Still Pickett hasn't had a bad season so I think no changes. There didn't seem to be any standouts in the scrub match except for English with 5 goals in 48 minutes of footy.

Scratch match info

Hi Caesar and all those who follow training.

Would you know why Riley Collier D wasnt one of the 12 who played in the scratch match. The 1st paragraph says 12 players and there's commentary on all 12. Except RCD and Higgins.

I recall someone mentioned Higgins had tweaked a calf. But didnt realise/hear anything about RCD?

Yeah that was the game where we saw the very worst of Eggy. I'd go all in on getting a better game out of Bachar, seems very low risk that Bach would serve up worse than that being as he has never played a game worse than that.
Yeah forgot that game that Eggy played.
Cant remember did his ‘lack of intensity’ contribute to goals for PA. ?

Squibbed several contests I remember. Also seemed to get caught HTB when he did have it, early in his career but didn't switch from essentially bruise free footy to contested and there not being as much time available very well.

Watching tonight’s news Port Captain Jonas was on and I thought he sounded as if we are already in their heads.... to paraphrase something to the Port are underdogs because the Tiges have been in form for the past 3 years - even though Port finished first and we should back our game style.

What I wanna know is

why do we have to wear our away top when port have teal on their jumper and the back of their jumper is white?

good point. we beat bris, geel beat port, wc beat coll, saints beat us, and coll beat geel during the home and away and all were reversed in the finals

based on that we'll beat port and bris'll beat geel. Then we'll beat bris.

perfect.
My observation also and you beat me to it. For the past 4 years if we get beaten by a side during the season, we beat them on the return bout if there is one. What a shame about the PF in 2018.

I don't mind our 2017 premiership jumper. We seem to get a fairer go from the umps with it.

They wear the away top when it’s time to crush the dreams of the more fancied opposition.

dunno what the hell happened there, quadruple post?? then I somehow deleted the original and the other disappeared.

wasn't very important. I was saying snakes going to the prelim, not me. But he is orders of magnitude more reckless and uncensured at the footy.

he makes me look like a non-verbal gentleman.

so we are well represented.
Okay so do us proud Snake!

They really seem to have liked Martyn and Ralphsmith through the scrimmage season

English too. Have a good feeling about him.

Sheesh, Turner has put on some bulk in the arms and shoulders going by the pic of him next to Markov in the huddle. He was a skinny wingman when drafted. If he can maintain his endurance with that size it will stand him in good stead

Despite no VFL if Xman's scrimmage reports are anything to go by, then it would suggest the development of the younger players is going along nicely. Very difficult to see how the club can remove 5 players from the list. Hate to be the decision maker

Whatever team we choose, we need to make sure we have someone earmarked to make either Clurey or Jonas accountable. One of these two will try to be the spare down back to help out Makenzie who will play on Lynch.

Caddy would be the perfect choice but dont know who makes way for him?
