Changes v Lions qualifying final

Barring any injuries, imho there’s only 4 players who may come in in the finals series Nankervis, Ross, Stack and Kmac

you'de know better than me, but Ive ruled a line through Stackman.

Highly unlikely, but if any of Chol, Towner, Pickett, Butler, CCJ, Garthy had a blinder VFL final, and we had a like injury, they could come in.

Perish the thought, but if DTLD went down for example, Garthy would be straight in.

ditto CCJ for Ivan.

But I agree that Nank, Ross and Kmac are next in the queue

Does this really work? You mean type "Lions" in the box where it asks for membership barcode?

Hopefully I don't need to do it

It certainly works on Ticketek, not sure about Ticketmaster.

Keep it in mind y'all. Lions member I was just talking to reckons they have been allocated 28,000 seats, Tiges just 5,000 with the rest going to corporates. Her daughter works in the channel 7 sports department up here so could be right I guess?

If true its a blooping disgrace.

That is a disgrace if true. The AFL runs the finals not the home club. Tickets should be allocated to each supporter base on an equal basis. Obviously there won't be as many RFC supporters as Lions due to the location but I reckon there will be more than 5000 wanting seats. If the away team allocation is not exhausted by a certain time then it gets opened up to others.

Geez I hope we slap these pretenders next week. I'm staggered by how the stupid media have fallen into them after we played in no more than 3rd gear for most of the game and still beat them by 5 goals. Our pressure was nowhere near what it usually is and will ramp up substantially come finals. No doubt the Gabba is an advantage for them but still think the Lions may be in for a rude awakening.

One thing I have noticed.

After the 1st. quarter the Lions matched us for the rest of the game, score wise.

We kicked 44 points after the 1st. quarter and the Lions 42.

On that sort of performance we will have to be on song to win this game and KICK STRAIGHT!!

They beat us in a lot of statistical area's apparently. If we clean a few of those area's up will make a big difference also.

Any reports on training this week ? Caesar ?

No wandered by PRO, usual training time 9:30 went past a couple of times and no action even at 11:30 even though there are plenty of Jeeps in the car park so may be a lay day?

At one point in the third quarter Leigh Matthews said Richmond could be a lot further in front, 22 - 15 in scoring shots, not to mention they have a lot of finals virgins. We are morals because we know how to play to the end.

We are unique. We are near the bottom of a lot of measures. I love the way we play.

Wonder how are clearance & stoppage work is going with Soldo's recent improvement?

We are a very unique beast. Compared to opposition we're 4th last for disposals, 2nd last for marks, 4th last for hitouts, 3rd last for clearances, 3rd last for contested possessions, 3rd last for contested marks. We excel at inside 50s 3rd, tackles first, metres gained 3rd, intercepts 3rd and 3rd last for turn overs. Just weird that you can be so dominant with those sort of stats but that's our game, pressure and slingshot. Move it quickly, chaos ball, no-one does it better than us.

Our small forwards are all liability- I wish we’d recruited a troupe of umpalumpas in the mid season draft and kept them hungry, pissedoff, lean
