Changes V Carlton

Yeah don’t think the my line up exactly like that but that’s the 22 who I think play.

If Martin goes out then Ross will come in.
I’ll be pissed off if Ross comes in again. Would prefer 4 others in front of him

If Dusty is out, I'd bring in MRJ. Get some speed in our forward line to harass that show pony Saad.

Dusty with a man flu. We'll all join you Dimma to help. I'm sure there are plenty of ladies (and genets) who would love to apply Vicks for Dusty.
Don’t down play the man flu.
It’s brutal.
Nearly died twice.

Can't think of a bigger game between the two clubs since probably the 2013 elimination final. Get the feeling the 'rivalry' will regain a fair bit of relevance this week. The ramifications of a win or loss for either side is huge.

I think Gibcus is a great matchup for Silvagni when he plays forward. The kid was beaten by Marshall from PA but I hope he stays in.

TBH, we as supporters need to extract the digit and attend in huge numbers of support on Thursday night (granted it’s legitimately difficult for many). I personally have a long memory, and the carry on from Carlscum supporters in round 1, coupled with the tacky and immature booing of Dusty during that game, has me baying for blood on Thursday night.

Sorry but thats rubbish. I watched him tightly in Round 1 and bar for 1 lead by Mackay Tarrant wore him like a glove.

You are just making *smile* up saying that Miller would be able to manage that.

If they would isolate Tarrant in our 50, why didn't they manage that in Round 1. Again, just making crap up as you clearly don't like Tarrant. We have a game that we can easily assess how he has already done against Mackay (I know it doesn't mean it will happen again for sure), and he did better than what you said so you cannot categorically say what you are without making stuff up.
Your comments are totally uncalled for.

If you look at a replay, during the 3rd there is a point just after Jack kicks out from a set shot.
There is a point soon after, when the ball is rolling around half back towards a position held by Tarrant, whose opponent is well behind. He seems to slow and wait for a team mate to take over but as the ball comes closer he finally goes at it, picks it up still well clear and then tries to hand ball WITH his right hand to a position on his right.
He misses his target and there is another needless stoppage.
As you earlier pointed out the graphics are not quite as clear on the replay but being there you get a more complete picture of that play.
Don’t know if you were there but literally everyone seated near me had their head in their hands, or was groaning.
He is slow, he lacks confidence when required to go in and get the ball and is at his best only when the ball comes in his direction and he is in position to come in and spoil.
According to the most recent training report it seems he is likely to be selected again this week. I hope he does well but the clear conclusion from watching his play over the season is that he is no longer up to it.
As for Miller, I didn’t say he could manage it. The point is that he is playing at his best ever form and has done enough to be given a second chance.
