Changes v Bombers

I understand that we would like a settled side come finals but I just think we are “settling” for our tried and tested players. We need an injection of youth and maybe the unknown, in 2017 it was Graham and Towner, in 2019 it was Bolton and Pickett maybe this year we bring in an untried player or two for the last 5 games. We are persisting with Stack and Rioli who are both so far off their best and why oh why is George ..no I won’t say it. I was calling for him to be dropped so many times leading up to 2017 GF and so many times I was wrong.
We looked a bit slow in the second qtr v Suns but not sure if that is older players slowing down or bc we're missing Prestia and Edwards with their forward handballs that make our ball movement look quicker? Possiby a bit of both. Injecting some youth and pace is better than relying too much on player reputations. No good finding out in the finals that we are too slow.

If the Match Committee are going to bring in a debutante, this is the week to do it.

I think the Swans got shut down pretty quickly when they tried it...

A debutante or deb (from French: débutante, "female beginner") is a young woman of aristocratic or upper-class family background who has reached maturity and, as a new adult, comes out into society at a formal "debut" or possibly debutante ball. Originally, the term meant that the woman was old enough to be married, and part of the purpose of her coming out was to display her to eligible bachelors and their families, with a view to marriage within a select circle.

Loving your work today McGraw :clap2

Absolutely top shelf!

Looking like Mosquito for his first game and Stringer the ins for los bombres. Mosquito is a first gamer so good luck to him but nothing for us to worry about. Stringer will be underdone and without any other major threats in the forward line I'll back our defence to sit on him good.

Should be a comfortable win, mind you I said that about the Suns game too.

Sorry if it's been asked already, but when are teams coming out for upcoming rounds? I thought after the 'frenzy' things would be going back to the usual 6pm on a Thursday, but obviously not.

Yeah bring back the old normal

the old normal when the teams were released at 5pm on a thursday before ch 7 *smile* it up

We already know Stringer and mosquito are in for the bombers.
The Wolverine will take Lynch.

I do worry he will leave if not given a chance and we will have put the development into him.

DS

If he's good enough he'll get a chance. In the meantime the club focuses on winning games of footy - we are on a knife-edge to finish top four and have a genuine chance at this years flag.
