Changes v Bombers

I understand that we would like a settled side come finals but I just think we are “settling” for our tried and tested players. We need an injection of youth and maybe the unknown, in 2017 it was Graham and Towner, in 2019 it was Bolton and Pickett maybe this year we bring in an untried player or two for the last 5 games. We are persisting with Stack and Rioli who are both so far off their best and why oh why is George ..no I won’t say it. I was calling for him to be dropped so many times leading up to 2017 GF and so many times I was wrong.

I too would love some injection of youth because some others have been poor, out of form & just struggling somewhat.

But all we can do until we know where we finish in the 8 is play as close as possible to our best side.

with no VFL (real games ) being played as much as I would love to see a CD or Dow time MAY have run out form them to do a Towner, Pickett or Shai.

Dimma will back his out of form or struggling players as much he can. That’s why the players love him as he does them and will back them up and stand up for them , until he can’t no longer.

This campaign will test us more than last year.

Really hoping they don’t drop Markov. I’d rather see him get a go as a half fwd for Castagna, Aarts or Rioli than be dropped. I had a bit of a lightbulb moment with him last week...There is something there with him. When he uses his pace to break the lines he looks really good. Also good over head and a neat kick.. demonstrated at vfl level that he can kick goals too.

Where's the teams? Haven't we gone back to the old normal now post frenzy?

Could not agree more. He has urgency, his first 5 meters are electric and he can kick it 50 meters. If he gets it on the half back and runs he is sending it 20 meters out in front of goal. Just what we need because the oppo defence will not have time to flood back as he will break the lines.

I note Carlton dropped josh honey. Saw about 15 minutes of the game against Fred and I reckon he is gonna be a player.

With Prestia looking very doubtful for the end of the year, I like the idea of trying out Collier-Dawkins. If they are thinking about something like this, now is the time.

Markov can go forward with Houli back.

One of Castagna or Rioli would need to be omitted, I think Aarts gets some more chances as he has been good, one bad game given the number of senior games he has played is not enough to get dropped.

Its Dow with the reportedly big motor DS.

RCD and Dion are about as alike as $hai bolton and Dave Asbury in my mind.

They are sticking with the 24 hours before the game.
Expect it to be tonight.
Hearing that the ‘Mosquito ‘ will debut for the Bombers.

Mosquito is debuting for the mighty bombers, but Pity Mortein Baker is waiting for him...

No point in considering RCD as he is injured. Short term is the vibe on RFC website.

Yer, but after that contoversial media exposure of the dubious antics in our change-rooms, Cartoon were very concerned about negative coverage for their guys.
Too many team-mates calling out: "Give it to me, honey!" "Aw, that was beautiful, honey." "Thanks, honey!" "Here, honey, here!" "Hit me, honey, hit me up."
