Changes v Bombers

Word on the back streets is mighty Daniher maybe be picked for this game.

Legit query, can eggs play high half forward role or is he a “pure” backline who needs to see play come at him? His delivery into deep fw50 could be well used... seems a composed kick

Are some posters really advocating dropping Soldo after a good game and keeping in Chol who was putrid? For balance?
Well that sends a great message. That’s how you shatter team confidence.
Out : Chol, Stack, Aarts.
In. Houli, Nankervis, Higgins

Yes. Because you don’t judge an individual on one bad outing. That’s one way of shattering team confidence. The Chol haters are out in force.

Let's hope Chol decides to turn up vs the Flying Mop cos if he dont cripes we will get creamed.

But Essendon don't have a midfield, so we'll be able to hit targets at will if they're tall and can lead. And their backline is slow (bar Saad) and stupid (bar no one). So we should still be able to pressure them with Markov/Rioli/Aarts and even Chol has improved in this regard.

This is a really salient point. If, and it is still an if given Chol's propensity to being somewhat in and out of games, but if Chol is playing well he can be not only a marking target but can pressure and collect ground balls. His pressure and ground ball game will never be at the level we should expect from small forwards, but he has more ability there than most big blokes.

The point here is that we should be able to play all 3 of Soldo, Nank and Chol. Soldo mainly for hit outs but also some around the ground height, Nank for hit outs and more around the ground presence, plus Chol doing a bit of pinch hitting in the ruck but mainly roving around being a tall target predominantly in the forward line. The issue is more that the small forwards have not been performing: not enough pressure and not enough crumbing goals.

So the temp on Sat will be 33 degrees. 21 in the evening. humidity dropping in the evening. Light Winds.
I know Dimma said that Nank would likely come in but will they in these conditions coupled with not being match fit.

I don't think it's a great idea to bring Houli and Nank in off long breaks in the same week. If Nank is 50/50 then give him another week. But, after that, there's really only one ruck combo:

Do you hear the drums, SolNankdo?

I’m thinking more Colnankius - a hyphenated colonoscopy for the drug cheats

OUT - click bait media reporting
IN - considered analysis (might need to get a few PRE posters accredited)

Hard to say. It’s been pretty dry but I just felt a few drops of rain as I posted. The forecasters dream up here - dry season 22-32 no rain, wet season 28-34 chance of a thunderstorm. I can’t imagine they ever study the maps! As someone who enjoys pretending it’s winter (used to live in taz) and the cold wind is blowing off the mountain, I take every chance to stick a jumper on. It’s sort of in between today. You could get away with jeans and thongs as opposed to the old school Darwin uniform of speedos and thongs.
