Changes for Rnd 9 Dreamtime

Huge game, win an we go to the break 5/5 most likely with an even second half to go, plus may just get to 70k members....lose an we go in 4/6 pushin *smile* up hill an a full stop on the membership...can't believe we are bookies favourite

if the Tigers come our and play,... last 2 weeks effort, then we can win BOTH..... They have been close games over their and we seem to love the road trips. Sat night first and then go from there. It would be so typical of Richmond to be 2-4 and turn into the break 6-4 !!!!!

In Newman's last 2 healthy games didn't he get like 16 touches and 2 goals? Big game, finals intensity, I won't moan if they bring him in for Corey Ellis.

Would like to see Menadue rewarded for his 7 possession half last week. Had 150 metres gained from 4 kicks, nearly equal to Brett Deledio.

Fletch vs McBean would be a nice script.
AND this spread, metres, pace gain didn't go unnoticed by hardwick, now he must deliver on what he has seen and newman goes into vfl.

1 change, McBean in for Vickery

No change for Dons

Round 9 Richmond team

B: Dylan Grimes, Jake Batchelor, Alex Rance
HB: Bachar Houli, Nick Vlastuin, Troy Chaplin
C: Brandon Ellis, Trent Cotchin, Kamdyn McIntosh
HF: Dustin Martin, Shane Edwards, Anthony Miles
F: Jack Riewoldt, Brett Deledio, Steven Morris
R: Ivan Maric, Shaun Grigg, Taylor Hunt
IC: Liam McBean, Corey Ellis, Connor Menadue, Ben Griffiths
Em: Ben Lennon, Matt McDonough, Todd Elton

In: Liam McBean
Out: Ty Vickery (knee)

Happy with that, we have a damn young team now with heaps of upside... Hope Beanie can do well and all the young fellas

Good to see 4 new kids in McIntosh McBean Menadue and Ellis and the team playing well.
Also the emergencies are kids.

Slowly there understanding.

b2

We can beat Essendon if we play like we have the last 2 weeks.

Agree its good to see the kids getting a run at it.

Good luck Tiges.

GOODLUCK to McBean on his second game.

Hope he starts and is not the sub.

Three of the 4 on interchange are kids.

Griff and Bean would have to start forward but the forward line looks ok.

I would start Deleido out of square and let Jack roam the 50 arc.

Reckon Cory might be the sub?

This is how you install confidence and a winning culture play the younglings while your playing good accountable footy only question that needs to be asked is why did it take so long

No way they will have McBean as sub, will most likely be Menedue again, which should mean that he will either get a full game against the Dockers or be dropped back to the VFL for a full game.

I reckon Ellis will be the sub. Menadue was better last week and Ellis looks tired.
