Changes for Rnd 9 Dreamtime

Memories of clevo's avatar years ago...

Beano's already got the beard, just needs to grow his hair longer.

Out - TV (inj), C.Ellis (omitted)

In - McBean, Lennon

Lennon to play the half forward role that Ellis seems to have been playing.

I'd just make the change that we are forced to. Vickery for McBean. I'd give Ellis another shot this week, and leave him to the VFL instead of taking him to the west next week.

After round 7 we'd played 35 in the firsts and 10 for one game
Dimmas looking for something he can't find at present
Maybe just bodies that hold up with Drummond Petterd Lambert Knights not even surviving a whole game, and Conca and Foley not even getting on the ground
The search is changing our list with highly skilled youngsters like CEllis, Menadue, McIntosh, Drummond and McBean debuting and Lennon Etc getting a further taste Hunt seems to offer something too
The last few weeks show that unless you constantly crack in hard, play one on one relentless defensive hard grinding footy but with clean skills on the rebound, you aren't following the Richmond Way
I loved the third quarter when our defensive wall withstood attack after attack and ground them down.
Then we pulled away with clean skills and smart attacking moves in the last. Martins goal line cameo was sublime
There's a lot of skill and hard graft in the squad now, and a standard has been set if you want to break into this team.
Even if you're having a bad night, constant effort will make a contribution until the break opens up
Go Dimma Go Tiges
My fan experience has been enhanced by a couple of W's

McBean
or move Maric forward and bring in the VFL best tap ruck in Hampson to help rest the big boy and get a few more centre clearances
Or Astbury
Any other changes will be sore body related and theres a few sore bodies out there

Certainly not wishing any harm too Newy, however while he is out its giving great opportunity to Ellis,Menadue an co

that's how the likes of geelong and hawks and swans survived at the top bleed the younglings and every opportunity they had

From the club's website:

McBean - thumb - test
Newman 1-2 weeks
Vickery 1-2 weeks
Conca 4+ weeks

Ergo:

Out: Vickery
In: McBean / Elton

Thought Vickery was 4-6 weeks

Dea in Houli out. Tougher bodies needed this week so looking at Menadue & C Ellis out. Maybe others with tougher bodies like McDonut, Elton , Lloyd.

Would keep Ellis in big game did some nice things Sunday night maybe Lennon for Vickery if McBean doesn't come up.

Respect the build up for dustin fletcher (congrats great player)....but come and smash these campaigners like you did port....pressure pressure and tackle...score will take care of itself and a win to the mighty tiges. ;)

The strip looks great. Easily the best of the teams I've seen and that appears to be the consensus from neutral supporters. Kudos to those involved in the design.

Yep Tigers Freo and Port have the strips right imo.

Simple and traditional look.

The Port and Freo outfits are soo much better than the rubbish they fronted with for too long.

As for the Tigers it was so obvious that this should be the clash strip if indeed we ever needed one.

West Coast would be well advised to ditch their BS strip too with the Eagle on it.

Agree with that. Definitely the best design. Just a shame it's on the back of wearing the away strip. Different jumper every week atm.

Any chance of Jason "George" Castagna getting a rookie elevation and a run this week? With the talk of injuries and sore bodies to the current team and the form he has been in at VFL level he could be a sneeky chance?

His highlights from last week are on the website if thats some sore of prediction to selection...

Looking forward to this game.
Nice win coming up with Hird having a cry end of match

Seeing as you called the Port game early, how much will we win by?

Might put some money on this one.

Yes. Stop the George farce now!
