I’m at the stage where I think anyone we have with talent should stay in the VFL.

Many posters are in agreement on which non contributors who should be dropped but the cupboard is pretty bare right now and the MC seem unwilling to make wholesale changes for whatever reason. Now I haven't watched VFL very much unless a match is live streamed so I can only go on what I have read so assuming they are fit then we could look at Bauer as a marking forward, Green as a crummng forward and Smith at half back. They cannot do worse than some of the incumbents. Still what do I know, I am only a passionate Tigers supporter who wants our team to do well

With 7 rounds to play
Suggested ins
Caretaker Coach
Out YZE
It’s that simple
Question what if the club have made the wrong decision to appoint ?
We will only know when those will ask for a trade at years end
Going to be an interesting 7 rounds
Rioli, Baker, Bolton, Graham, Cumbo ....... Stiglitz ??

Trade week will be interesting thats for sure.

Clubs will be in the ears of a few Tigers even more after no doubt laying groundwork overr the past 12 months right now for sure especially with the expectations that heads can be turned.

In: Prestia (if fit); Martin (if fit); Tresize, Smith
Out: Cumberland; Campbell, Banks, Mansell

Short to play wing or high half forward to allow Smith to play back. Baker to rotate back. McIntosh to be sub.

Going to be a very long 2 years if you keep this negative tone up.

Yze is coach for 2025 & 2026....if he cant coach thats great we get draft picks.
If he can coach we will know by the end of 2026.
I really dont see it as a negative one way or the other.

Very puzzling considering Campbell, Mansell or Cumbo couldn’t touch it. Could’ve even swung Blight Forward as we were short there.
There’s no imagination in our coaching team atm. They’re playing too safe and way too defensively. Take risks and allow the kids to play naturally and attacking because who cares if we lose by 10goals or 15 goals in the end. It’s more about taking the game on and getting confidence and eventually growth will happen.

Dow has been quoted as one of the best at Sunday's VFL match so no doubt he will slot back in as he seems to have the MC under a spell. They do tend to like mediocrity in some players

Don't quote me - but I think he was pretty cooked......

He's still building AFL level endurance

Not sure on the injury front.

Vlastuin - Miller - Bauer
Smith - Blight - Trezise

Rioli - Taranto - Brown
Nankervis - McAuliffe - Prestia

Bolton - Balta - Coulthard
Gray - Koschitzke - Mansell

Martin - Hopper - Baker - Broad.
Banks.
Gray out for 6-8.
Bauer, Martin and Prestia uncertain.
Not sure I’d be hurrying Prestia back in any event.

Yze needs to mix it up. Rioli in the middle, Baker back to the backline, Short to earn his keep in the fwd line, Broad to the wing, Trezise lock down defender, Smith and Banks rebounding defenders.

Seven or eight younger players named. Which i believe we need to do. The thinking is i want enough of our better senior players around them.
That does not include serious underperformers like McIntosh, Short, Graham.
If we are setting standards then they need to be arsed and made to earn their spots back in the magoos.

Gray out Bauer forward and Broad to third tall. Bring in another kid or reprieve one of the underperformers.

Bauer, Dusty, Prestia, Samson need to get through main training on Thursday to be available. I think Bauer and Samson will come through VFL. Bauer in particular has had a few injuries. Hard to know what selection changes will be made this week.
