Changes against Collingwood.

It worked (sort of) with Luke McGuane (briefly)

Poor muscles.

Even had his best ever moment taken away from him when he was moved forward against the Saints, took a screamer and Bruce MacAvaney yells ‘oh what a mark by McGinnity!’

I think they wanted to limit his calamitous damage. It couldn't be avoided even in the forward line.

Can never grow tired of that footage.
Didn't call him McCalamity for nothing !!

Just viewing that again more than justifies my Dark Side allegiance from that time.

Our forward pressure has slowly but surely dropped off from its 2017 heights, bill. Towner went out, Higlet replaced Butler, Lynch came in, Aarts came in, Daniel moved to defence. Bit by bit, then all of a sudden we couldn't get a hand on the bad guys in our F50.

Last week MoJu and Stacky gave us a reminder of what it's like to heat oppo defenders. Dimma loves a redundancy, we have a plethora of small back options, and eventually we want Syd The Mid, so rebreaking Mansell forward makes sense to me.
I've mused a couple of times already that Melee would be a handy helter skelter pressure forward, bringing heat to the ground ball in forward 50 he'd be pretty adroit at it.

All our wins this year, the opposition have been kept to low scores. The coaches are trying to get us back to controlling the opposition better. Keeping the foot on the throat.
Back a few years it was called ball protection.

WTF, only *smile* Q section seats left for members... if I get there and see huge areas of empty seats in better areas im gonna get f'in pissed off

We have completely sold out our reserve seat areas in the Southern and Olympic stands. There is a waiting list. City End there are minimal availabilities remaining on level 2 but for V Collingwood "we don't have rights to city end" even though it's our home game. Pies under Eddie tied up a deal for like 10 years with the MCC which I'm sure is expiring soon.

If there are any gaps in the Southern or Olympic stands that'll be members not rolling up for whatever reason.
At the city end that is reserved for Collingwood.

I would get there early and sit in the early rows of top deck Q level or standing areas on level 1.

I hope we don’t go in too cocky because we have a full list. This Collingwood mob seem to get a win even when down in the dumps. Bring on Saturday

Should be a 3 goal plus win without Brodie showing up our weaknesses in the ruck.
If it is going to be wet Jack and Lynch should both benefit but only one ruck.
Soldo or Nank?
Nank gives up too many frees. Soldo might be the better fit.

To me it’s a 50/50 game. The bookies have us $1.53 favourites. Bit surprised, maybe they are a bit worried the tigers are back in town. If we win this well I can see us getting on a roll.

One of those ruckmen just happens to be co captain!!

Yet I reckon the crowd will be only about 60,000

It is an issue that Soldo is the more inform ruckman of our two at the moment. However, we can't drop the co-Captain.
How do you figure that? Soldo has played 1 game in the last month. Nank had more disposals, more marks, more clearances, more tackles and gave away less frees. they both kicked 1 goal.

Yeah crazy talk. Soldo was horrible and rightly dropped in his second last AFL match.
