Didnt he walk to Hawks and AFL gave us that pick, after Hawks fixed his contract to ensure we were well compensated. Looks as though Shai was the compensation, handy type.
It's the fact that North's offer is effectively a 10-20 pick upgrade in the 2022 draft that is the galling part. When we are talking about 3rd and 4th rounders the difference in picks is almost irrelevant.

To be fair to Norf I'm not sure us going & taking their quality fullback off their hands was in their planning.
I'll just stop you there, and give you some time to think about what David King used to routinely do to us.
Our position is pretty clear, either pick 20 is involved or we try and convince CJ to stay. If we doesn't then NM take him in the PSD and we take Tarrant.
Just on a side note, as a former SEN addict the one hour I'd switch off every week was when he came on Harf Time with Daniel Harford to talk Champrion Data. Officially the most boring (yet still rather annoying) hour of radio ever. This bloke could send a meth head to sleep.

To me, their opening offer is a joke, they know it, and what is the difference between getting a slight upgrade on a fourth round pick next year and nothing cause he goes through the psd - the cost to our club is so minuscule he may as well walk if we accept that.
I was a fan and wanted him to resign, but now, after what the club did for him, he can take his bat and stick it as far as I am concerned.
