Callum Coleman-Judas - extricate yourself to Nth Ballarat, you git

If it’s true we’ve offered him 2 years and he just wants longer, I’d be happy for us to offer 3. I think he’s shown enough. A year more under Jack’s tutelage (still getting lots of game time) then full-time alongside Tom. Bigger crowds and more chance of finals in the next 3 years than at Norf or GCS.

Test of character for CCJ. If he is trying to maximise football ability he will stay and continue to learn and build for a big contract next time around.

If he wants the easy road he goes.

Why would he sign now? We'll offer him a better deal if we don't get a trade we like. Both parties keeping options open, I reckon.
Not sure that’s how we work is it? We’ve made him what we think is a fair offer. Or do you think we’re low balling him?

Anyway I’d be okay if he went for a good deal. Not sure he’s all he’s cracked up to be.

The worry with North’s interest is the PSD. They’ve probably got quite a bit of salary cap room too.

The deal we offered him was probably from the early part of the season and the last three games or so he started to show what he can really do. The Dawks game showed his versatility and commitment so maybe a better offer is forthcoming?

I wouldn’t put any faith in anything from that Hawthorn game. It was a glorified practice match.

What deal would you suggest?
One that gets us Hollands or pick 3.

Dunno, mate. Just my read. I'm not sure he’s all he’s cracked up to be either, and I reckon the club feels similarly.
