Bye Bye Jack Higgins!

Would never t be surprised if he went out this week.

The only player to do enough in the small forward role in the VFL was Stengle. Higgo had a bit of a downer today but it was a high pressure game and will do him the world of good.

He looks a bit slow when he's isolated in space. Smart player though.

Wouldn't mind seeing what Stengle can do. He's harder to tackle than Snaggins.

Hey TBH I were typing as you were posting, we are obviously thinking along the same lines.

Tigers need to bring in few guys , Sengle , Markov, soldo,Garthwaite, Stengle ,jnr( to come back soon also .
Tigers in a good posirion to rotate these guys in the next few weeks .

Dropping Snags is silly talk. The kid stays. We need livewires.

Looked out of his depth today, not badly mind you. We're the top side and it was a hot game. And as I've said its no knock on him at all, I love him, but he's just a kid and I'd be giving him a spell if it was up to me. Agree with TBH, I'd like to see Tyson in.

agree, but I reckon when he builds up strength and smarts, it won't be a problem.

Started well.

Struggled at times with the pressure and pace.

Still did some nice things.

Going to be a tough call for the selectors.

13 kicks, 1 mark, 2 goals...out of his depth??

Not badly mind you ;D

lost some key contests due to inexperience and being outmuscled, again, it is no knock at all, not in the slightest. This is the way young players should be developed.

Better to experience the 1sts. This kid's got a footy brain.

4th game? 3rd?

These last two games have been very intense. Would like to see him play when it’s a bit easier, like against Geelong, North or Swans

If he had played better, OR we had nothing in the cupboard, fair enough. But he could have been better, AND the cupboard is stuffed full. Spread the load, ease them in. Stengle also has a Footy brain.

Gyps, Jack and I were sitting in the JD Stand last Sunday running out of fingers trying to count the number of blokes we need to get games into at the top level. Stengle is one of them. Turbo will be back.

I would drop him for next week , Had a taste but can just see that he needs 1-2 years of development

Just hesitates at times and is not up to the pace when the ball is not in his area

My thoughts exactly. Good kid, obviously has some talent, but needs to develop his game quite a bit.

In a high class, high pressure game he was obviously not quite up to the standard. Nor would you expect him to be. We've exposed him to top flight footy. I wouldn't be upset swapping him out for another.

But as has been said - he doesn't miss the level by much. Very good draft choice. I was sort of wishing we had Callum-Jones available to play on Cox. But he's not ready yet either.

Don't think you will ever see CCJ playing full back.
