Few stats on the young fella

Year Team Games Kicks Handballs Disposals Marks Goals Behinds Tackles
2007 Richmond 6 8.2 10.0 18.2 3.3 0.2 0 1.2
2006 Richmond 21 11.5 7.3 18.8 6.5 0.2 0.6 1.7
2005 Richmond 22 8.4 6.8 15.2 3.9 0.6 0.4 1.7
Career 49 9.7 7.4 17.1 5.0 0.4 0.4 1.6

Pinched this from another thread.

Hard to believe Deledio's tackle average could go backwards this year but there you have it.

Don't flame me just highlighting that he's not perfect.. :devilangel

Well done Champ. Great effort at being 20 years old and already notching up game 50.

Looking forward to seeing you play many more in the yellow and black.

Deledio had Ling tagging him on Sunday. Ling without a doubt is one of the best taggers in the league.

Has Richmonds game plan changed ? I notice alot of players handball stats have been on the increase. I want to see less handballs and using more kicks to go forward. Richmond is over using the handball.

Think that makes him the third-youngest player ever to reach 50 games at Richmond behind Allan Edwards (1977) and Donald Don (1920).
Good signs that he will be a 300 gamer...touch wood

Not to many 20 year olds being tagged? Is struggling to cope with the attention at the moment due to the lack of star midfielders he will get the number 1 tagger but with increased body size & experience will break the tags & become the gun we know he will be!!!

So Richo's 250th game will be against Port too this time at the G (if I have counted correctly), his 200th was against Port at the dome (I remember the game well!)

Congrats Lids on 50 games! :clap

I hope they sink the Power and for Deledio to be carried off by his team mates at the end of the game , that'll make me cry, especially after what my club & I have been through this week.

As Lids' president, I would like to congratulate him on his 50th...a true champion in the making.
:clap
Now I know as a player president I am supposed to pump them up, but I believe in realism. Having said that, TW noted that players that did not perform as well as they would have liked could be dropped this week. I've got this funny feeling that he was referring in part to Lids. 6 possies from a guy that himself thinks he can be a superstar is well below par. What better player to make an example of (i.e. reputation means nothing if you don't perform).

Maybe the 50th will be against Adelaide and not Port??

If he struggles in the centre again this week I'd like to see TW shift him to the wing to give him some space.

Unlike the AFL record who have had (in every record I have seen this year) Ray Hall's 100th game milestone ::)

I mean, you would think they know he is injured and only name him if he was in the team? :p

A week at Coburg will reset his mind and his desire for the contest and the footy and put him on the right path to being the champion we all want to see him become.

I agree Coburg can do that for a player made of the right stuff but wonder if the selection panel would risk dropping Lids when we have 3 more injuries who'll miss. Terry said 3 others will be dropped too but do we have the depth to bring in 6 players from Coburg?

Well done Lids.

Sad though mate - if you were at any other club (where you got support from older players) you would be talked about now as a Brownlow prospect.

One day the rest of the Tiger team will support you and you will be able to show us your real class during a whole game - rather than in the flashes that you do now.......
