How many times do i have to say u are welcome to post whatever opinion u have.....And im not referring to lids saying he was slack, my angst at some posters including u is when he's had good games he's still copped crap and i flyed the flag for him...Go back to start of any thread and see when ive gotten upset, ive also said an opinion is one thing stupidity is another...check out he's stats for that game and then ul understand why i was up in arms...
Of late i have said he actually had more better games than bad games in the "1st half of the year" and ive named them and who he beat but u and a few others still werent happy. Some in the last few pages still making comment about that passage of play and this passage of play that they werent happy with, how about his overall game, his contribution BTW he was our best and close to BOG with X amount of disposals and hard ball gets...
Another time he was BOG and someone said on PRE "enough is enough", i had a go at that person and rightly so and u come back at me saying everyone has the right to an opinion "my word" they do U2 but i also said in my reply post to you an opinion is one thing stupidity is another...
Look ive got nothing against you i really havent but ive found ur comments re lids annoying, because its constent...U2 i want to see u continually naming guys who cant hit targets and make silly decisions time after time, uve targeted Lids and pretty much no one else...
A few times uve replied back to me with "i expect more from lids" why cause he is a class act? if ur in the 22 u play ur part and he's played it and then some...
Ill ask you this question, if were 10 wins and 1 loss u reckon there would be any talk about this, would u even mention it....Serious if were top of the ladder could u honestly say this would be brought up...
Pendlebury, Del Santo and Gibbs all very good players but gee in all honesty do they work hard the other way when they dont have it, do u see them run down guys, win the hard ball and i mean the hard ball...They're all winning there teams everyone is happy, we arent cause we're losing but i tell ya i could probably pic a fault from most players in the league...
Been on this site a few yrs now and never post things some of the guys tell me and on Lids ive wanted to post a few things which I have been told about but i wont, well cant cause i might receive a text 2moro telling me to shut up....But ill abbreviate or give as much as possible without upsetting certain people, at the start of the year TW told several players where he expected them to play, bling HB, schulz FF, Patto CHF, Graham to ruck with Simmonds and Lids in the midfield....Well come RD 1 lids in the fwd pocket, then games played HF, HB, wing and at times midfield....Let me tell you now he wasnt happy and not a happy work environment for him and several players....But they're professionals and they go out to play their best footy, they're also human and in an unhappy work environment people have their ups and downs.
Have u ever worked for a boss whom u dont like or get along with but try to do ur job then 1 word pisses u off basically puts u off ur whole day...Anyway lets leave this at that everything happens for a reason and if its made lids a better player great, some could also say that the shackles have been taken off and he's playing how he and others know he would play as full time in the midfield...
Anyway bottom line is his 2nd half of the year has been terrific, sensational actually, his first half was good and 3 or 4 not so good and i mentioned them.
Richo says he's been unfairly marked ive thought that from the get go...
